VT gun ban

VT recently enforced a concealed carry ban dating from 2005. To whose advantage did it work?

Compare and contrast the reaction of the (FAT!) cowardly cops in riot gear, hiding behind trees to the reaction of heroic cops and armed civilians when Charles Whitman shot at students from the tower. They stormed the tower and killed him. VT? They hung out eating more doughnuts.

The psycho appears to have given EVERYONE AROUND HIM plenty of warning. Couple that with the gun ban and I smell a black op.

Gun control? That would be using both hands to keep your grouping tight. One kid with a Glock 19 kills 30+ people?! Why wasn't anyone armed???

Slam him hard

Bush the Lesser desperately needed a distraction. This one was made to order. Literally made to order.

So, did Gonzales' appearance get re-scheduled? No? Can the Murcan Sheeple be bothered to remember anything now that their beaks have been placed on a new chalk line?

You misspelled "Sixteenth"

Try again. Try harder.

When they come for your guns, it's time to use them.

and refers exclusively to the right of states to maintain the National Guard. The right of individual citizens to own firearms is the most persistent and pernicious myth of American culture, with no legal basis.

The Militia Act of 1903 created what is now known as the National Guard. How incredibly prescient of the Framers to know that, a mere 126 years after 1776, that the National Guard would be created.

Why did VT recently enforce a 2005 rule banning concealed carry weapons from campus? Did you notice the heroic way the fat cops hid behind trees while the shooter cavorted with his victims? It's almost as if it had been scripted that way...

But, yes, you're clearly correct: we need to ban personal firearms so that criminals will not be shot by angry citizens.

Pope Gregory IX places the Inquisition, in existence since 1227, under the aegis of the Dominican Order. Torture is apparently sometimes necessary to save souls, and the office continues to exist today as the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith.

Somehow this brought The Gonz to mind. You know he was an Inquisitor in a past life.

Original article: Setting the bar low

Why isn't Bush being impeached yet?

The latest debacle with The Gonz is just icing on the cake -- allowing 9/11/01 to take place, refusing to testify under oath to the 9/11 Cover-Up Commission, illegal aggressive war against Iraq, murdering Hussein for killing 150 Iraqis..??

Why is Bush still in office? If it walks like a duck, has webbed feet like a duck, quacks like a duck, gets right in your face and screams "I'M A DUCK!" -- Bush is a figurehead and ought to be removed. Right after Cheney. And Gonzales.

Incompetent, evil buffoon -- remove him immediately!

Is Rolling Stone still published?

If so, why? I mean, it hasn't been relevant since the mid-70s, when they began to staple the fucking rag, magazine-style.

That self-congratulatory stuff has got to be a northern California thing. And, uh, Yawn? You're gay in New York but just a fag in LA.

Original article: Duncan Hunter on the attack

Termed-out San Diego fascist

Duncan Hunter DEFINES San Diego politics -- willfully stupid, US flag wrapped around him tightly enough to cut off any oxygen flow to the alleged brain, brown shirt neatly starched -- do not forget that he was gung-ho for the Enabling Act passed last year... oh, wait, it was actually called the John Warner Defense Authorization Act but you know what I mean. And Dunc was 100% for it.

I can only assume that he's hoping to enjoy a free ride and plenty of campaign contributions a la Al Sharpton's alleged Presidential campaign. Dunc is termed-out and needs a new government teat to suckle from.

Get a fucking job as a Wal-Mart greeter, Dunc, it's what you're best suited for.

Articles of impeachment have been filed against Dick Cheney

Kucinich Files Impeachment Papers Against Cheney

"high crimes and misdemeanors"

Global Research, April 26, 2007

Let the Impeachment Movement spread across the the land. May truth prevail. "Impeachment is Indispensable" (Daniel Ellsberg)

Liberal firebrand and Democratic presidential candidate Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-Ohio) yesterday submitted an official resolution to impeach Vice President Dick Cheney, accusing the ultra-powerful veep of "high crimes and misdemeanors" for violating the constitution and undermining national security by lying to the American people about Iraqi weapons of mass destruction and an al-Qaeda connection to justify a war.

Kucinich is unlikely to find much support for the measure on Capitol Hill, where the House must pass articles of impeachment by a simple majority before sending them to the Senate, where a two-thirds majority is required. As President of the Senate, Cheney might even preside over his own case. Kucinich's efforts have already been mocked by the Washington Post, among others, but the articles of impeachment do level some grave charges at Cheney that readers might care to peruse.

I haven't seen one word about this story on salon.com, much less in the rest of the MSM. Gay dwarves in a role-playing game? What are you, seventeen years old? Bring back the fluffy Jennifer Aniston stories. No reason to pay attention to any hard news that's not approved by the overseers, eh?

Gay dwarves? Unreal.

I'd like to hear more from Mike Gravel

It's almost astonishing to hear someone tell the truth. Why is it that CNN has not invited Gravel to its debate?

I definitely am most interested in Kucinich and Gravel. Hillary and Obama can go far, far away and stay there.

"As nightfall does not come at once, neither does oppression. In both instances, there is a twilight when everything remains seemingly unchanged. And it is in such twilight that we all must be most aware of change in the air however slight lest we become unwitting victims of the darkness." --- William O. Douglas, Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court

I want to hear more from Mike Gravel.
