Equally, if the bombs do start to fall again, expect America's proxy Israel to have dropped them. One would expect the Bush team to have the sense to not be directly involved.
US troops in Iraq are physically between Israel and Iran -- a fact which certainly is not lost on Israel. If they can't get their Golem to attack Iran for them, they'll do it themselves (with US-supplied weapons). US troops in Iraq can then enjoy the fury of Iran, finding themselves literally in harm's way.
Dubya is an appointed, not elected, dry drunk. And that's the nicest thing I can say about him. What a total, utter disaster he has been and continues to be. Two more years. Two more years of this imbecile. God help us all.
Whom are we shitting..? Israel is armed to the teeth with WMDs, and not phantom ones. Israel also has submarines capable of launching nuclear missiles.
That shitty little country, to paraphrase a French diplomat, has been a fucked-up mistake from day one. The US is stupid and wrong to support Israel in any way, shape or form.
The US invaded Iraq at the behest of Israel. They're as happy as clams in mud at high tide to have the US Golem doing their dirty work. And the USA is as dumb as dirt for being such a tool.
Take some responsibility for your own actions. It's not always a picnic off the beaten path.
Who is to blame for James Kim's death? I would say... James Kim.
Are there not GREEN TREES up that way? Why not build a nice smokey fire that would get some attention..? From all accounts Mr. Kim was a techno-geek of the first order -- no satellite phone?
It's a shame he died, but I have no sympathy. Plan ahead.
G. W. Bush.
Try, convict and execute them. Bush, Cheney, all the names you know from PNAC. Might as well root out JINSA and AIPAC while we're at it.
EVERYBODY! CONSERVATIVE BEACH PARTY @ GITMO!!! You attendance is mandatory!
Gates is one of THEM.. helped cover up Iran/Contra, remember..? I sure do.
And Mr. Ledeen would certainly define the term. Where does your allegiance truly lie, Mr. Ledeen..? With the USA? Or with Israel? Because you can't have it both ways.
Did you and your cronies highjack US foreign policy TO SUIT ISRAEL..? Would that not be a treasonable offense..? And after hoodwinking the extraordinarily slow learners in DC once, you're going to try it again with Iran..?
Israel has WMDs. Israel is an aggressive nation. Israel ignores UN resolutions.
Regime change? Great idea. I have a prime candidate in mind.
ZIONISTS and JEWS are two different entities -- but you know that. You're deliberately obfuscating.
I can wait fifty years for history to shake out. I'll wait patiently for you to apologize to me for your stupid comment.
Connect the dots, kids, this is not difficult to perceive. Provided you haven't been brainwashed since before birth. "When Israel does it, it is not wrong."
Did that work for Nixon? No.
Lieberman ought to be compelled to register as an agent of a foreign power.
Erm... the #1 biomass producer on this planet. Does God fuck up? No, no... why are we ignoring this gift..? Bizarre.
It's a private matter. Leave it to the Enquirer, ok..? Not on salon.com.
Would not trust him with my kids.
Yawn. The House is full of madmen. They can pass whatever they'd like. When they get to the Big Boys in the Senate their plans will be cut into pieces and stuffed down the garbage disposal.
Are there ANY politicians who put the interests of the USA ahead of Israel..?

>McCain’s heavily Jewish finance committee includes Kravis; Mark Broxmeyer, a Long Island real estate magnate; Dr. Ben Chouake, president of the New Jersey-based pro-Israel political action committee Norpac, and Barbara Sobel, whose husband, entrepreneur Clifford Sobel, is a major GOP fundraiser who was appointed by President Bush as ambassador to the Netherlands and later Brazil.
According to Chouake, members of the New York-area finance committee have pledged to raise a minimum of $50,000 each. He said that he personally had approached the campaign with an offer of support, based on his concern about the situation in the Middle East. “The 800-pound gorilla in the room right now is Iran,” Chouake told the Forward. “You have the president of Iran, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who represents the first country in the world to openly state, ‘We intend to get nuclear weapons, and we intend to commit genocide.’ This is an immense threat to the United States, and this is an immense threat to Israel. So who are you going to support?… For me, the person that is the most capable, most experienced, most courageous to defend our country, would be John McCain.”
For years, McCain, who has been calling for more American troops to be sent to Iraq, has developed strong ties with neoconservatives in Washington, sharing their hawkish voices on several key fronts.
In recent weeks, McCain has been signaling that an attention to Jewish issues will remain on his agenda as his campaign moves forward.
