Original article: "Brothers"

thank you David Talbot. Now do Salon letters reflect the correct percentage..

The wackiest conspiracy theory was the one presented to us the very evening of the assassination, Nov. 22, 1963. The president was murdered around lunch time, and the crime was all wrapped up by dinnertime--LHO, communist, etc. etc. Even my 14 year old brother knew that was strange. So did I, age 10. Ah David--you knew it too. The "there is no conspiracy, LHO did it" letters were as predictable as celebrity obituaries that newspapers have on the ready.

Mr. Talbot, thank you for keeping this issue alive--while some of the letter writers might just be lazy or indifferent, there are others who really are hostile to the truth being publicized. Much of the truth has actually been out for some time. And no, there is no way anybody in good faith can believe there was no "conspiracy." There is too much damning evidence, if you are awake and investigating.

To have so info much on the ready.... Does this sound familiar? You want to know the truest statements about 911 or the Kennedy assassinations, go back and get first hand reports before some invisible hands got hold of the press. It takes a few hours. Conspiracies are part of political and government life. What fool believes politicians tell the truth? Are you insane? They want power. The have proved many times through history their willingness to do sociopathic things--Northwoods for example. FDR knew Pearl Harbor was likely. Bush wanted war in the middle east long before 911. One could go on.

Only a child or an idiot believes the government. Or someone who closely identifies and believes in the government might believe in it as long as it seems to their advantage.

To find truth, to be an intelligent citizen, you have to read, to research. Posner (Case Closed) admitted he wrote a

LHO did-it-alone book because that's what the press would promote. What a whore. http://www.assassinationweb.com/new-old1.htm

Everybody who has perused the Warren Report (put together and staffed mostly by JFK enemies) always knew it was bunk. Yet to never ask why such a tainted set of documents would be offered up?

The lament "we can never know" is another approach of those who don't want the truth to come out. There are people who were personally involved in the assasination, who have admitted to it. Until you have read a number of their books, you have no right to comment. You just sound like a fool or a liar.

And btw, why did Salon, who knows better, pick one of the "LHO alone did letters" to head the list of Editors' Choices? Among the population at large, far fewer people would be inclined to disagree with Mr. Talbott than the Salon letter writers. Again--they were ready for him.

Yazidi's beliefs about their origins--no wonder they treated the poor girl like an insect

Yazidis are not Muslims. Indeed, some Muslims consider them devil worshipers. "The tale of the Yazidis' origin found in the Black Book gives them a distinctive ancestry and expresses their feeling of difference from other races. Before the roles of the sexes were determined, Adam and Eve quarreled about which of them provided the creative element in the begetting of children. Each stored their seed in a jar which was then sealed. When Eve's was opened it was full of insects and other unpleasant creatures, but inside Adam's jar was a beautiful boy-child. This lovely child, known as son of Jar grew up to marry a houri and became the ancestor of the Yazidis. Therefore, the Yazidi are regarded as descending from Adam alone, while other humans are descendants of both Adam and Eve." Wikipedia. Not the best source, but who could make that shit up?

With beliefs like that is it any wonder they are ready to treat a young girl like an insect.

Why don't all those women just leave?
