I've heard and read others describe Mr. Greenwald as a "Civil Libertarian". Glenn Beck is also a Libertarian! So where comes the friction?

The Two Glenns, odd-couple Libertarian soul mates. The two Glenns, they only disagree on little things that aren't important to Libertarians, e.g. foreign policy, torture, accountability. You know, the little things.

Glenn Beck, Rupert Murdoch, GE, Raytheon/Boeing and other welfare recipients, they are all pawns in Dr. Paul's Great Game.

I once watched Dr. Paul turn a Planned Parenthood into rubble just by glaring at it. He is that powerful.

For some reason Glenn Beck's tea party goers ignore all but one, maybe two of those issues, and for some reason the issues that Beck and his party friends ignore could reflect badly on the stock prices in his bosses' portfolio.

It must all just be a coincidence. Synchronicity and stuff. Just like the time of death recorded for Olbermann and O'Reilly's flirting sessions.

The Militant God Peasants that follow him, they are all "Libertarians" too. The Evil Dr. has them all under his spell.

It's all part of Ron Paul's plan to overturn Roe and get us back on the gold standard. The system that controls Glenn Beck, who controls all of this controlled opposition, is merely being used by the wily supervillian Dr. Paul and his nefarious henchmen.

Glenn Beck is a peasant herder

Divide and Conquer.

And many of the people that were "helping Ron Paul" remember when Beck was calling Paul "the Mayor of Crazy Town" during Paul's campaign, in defense of the establishment's number one ziggurat, the Federal Reserve. Glenn Beck is just another faker that is controlled by the same corporations and interests he rails against.

The mentality of anyone who will follow Beck is no different than people who whine that Obama needs to "fight for the public option" and were smitten by his little speech. It is all just bullshit to control people while they open the trough for their fascist friends.

Beck loves the system because it is fascist, just like he is, just like Obama and Bush, Fox News and MSNBC. Money talks. They all want the power to do what they perceive as "the right thing". They are all cynical-faker fascist users and opportunists just like all the other Conservative and Liberal and Progressive "personalities" that the powerful, pro-war moneyed interests that control and amplify the communication channels promote.

Beck works for Fox News, owned by Rupert Murdoch who made a back room deal with the CEO of MSNBC when Olbermann and O'Reilly were having a spat, but only when the spat started targeting GE, MSNBC's parent company. The plug was pulled because said spat might have a negative effect on stock prices. Olbermann and O'Reilly, being peasant herding servants of the empire themselves, reaffirmed their imperial allegiance and obliged.

Yet I'm supposed to believe that Beck is somehow not a part of that same system, and will actually say or do something that might reflect poorly on the stock price of Murdoch and Friends Fascist Empire. Yeah, right. Get the fuck out of town with that divide and conquer bullshit.

You never answered my question. Are all Liberals and Progressives being intellectually dishonest when they call themselves democrats? Or are they all like most Liberals and Progressives, authoritarians that are just too fucking stupid to know any better? e.g. your hero ondelette.

And it's too bad that principled progressive liberal democract whatever it is ondelette, the beacon of intellectual honesty when he posted here about foreign policy (and not an agenda driven interventionist war supporter), isn't around anymore to be intellectually honest about our interventions in Asia.

Mr. Greenwald made an awful lot of little errors in today's blog entry. It looks like he even criticized the Good War that your ideological friends love with all of their heart. Where is the intellectually honest, principled peacenik progressive liberal democrat whatever it is ondelette to tell us all how opposing the Good War is wrong and we need to not-occupy Afghanistan for 50 years so he can teach math to the Afghan womenfolk?

Is that the kind of intellectual honesty you were talking about? It sure sounds like you miss ondelette's "intellectual honesty" when it came to foriegn policy. You should go find him and you two can have a big ol' time being intellectually honest together.
