  • Speaking in Code

[Read the article: McCain spokesman John King of CNN]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

    McCain is speaking in politicode.

    "Yes, I feel good, John."

Translation: Thank Moloch that the man whose Foreign Policy Agenda I flipped flopped on and now support won't be around this time to viciously smear me and put me in my place as another puppet holding a glass in front of the global elites' champaigne fountain of power.

  • WTF?!

[Read the article: McCain spokesman John King of CNN]

When did GG become a McCain supporter?

  • Pinkerton is going to help polish the Huckster's mask? Look out!

[Read the article: Mike Huckabee gets serious in a big way]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Pinkerton must have took the Huckster Christmas = Fascism comment personally. He already shilled for the Huckster in his whiny little oped about it that didn't see one positive comment.

The Huckleberry should be fine on Foreign Policy, the inner circles of the establishment have his ear, i.e. when it comes down to it, the Huckleberry is business as usual. I can't really see why the Huckster is perceived as anti-establishment and "populist" anyway, although Huck sure has some folksy advisers, like this guy:

    http://www.cfr.org/bios/3350/richard_n_haass.html

    Richard N. Haass

    President, Council on Foreign Relations

When I think CFR, the first words that come to my mind are "populism" and "anti-establishement", how about you? The Huckster's populism is pyrite, and so is his entire image. The Down Home Baptist Preacher, always full of good analogies... that Judicial Watch put him on its 2007 top ten list of most corrupt politicians. Huckster is a selling political snake oil, he knows which side his bread is buttered on.

  • Always drink upstream from the herd

[Read the article: How Wall Street broke the free market]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

We are drinking dangerous water. The story goes that a parched cowboy found a creek and in his overwhelming thirst drank the water in large gulps, relieving his thirst and lifting his spirits. He then mounted up and proceeded a little ways upstream, only to find a rotting dead cow laying in the middle of the creek.

We are the cowboy, and we have already drank from the tainted stream. All that is left is to mount up and proceed upstream to the surprises that awaits us.

We are selling our children and grandchildren up the river, to countries that are anything but "democratic". Like the Commie Chinese, Kuwait (human traffickers and sex slavers), and Dubai (whose glorious man-made islands and beautiful, shiny, impressive buildings are built by what amounts to Asian slave labor). These are the countries to whom we our selling our families, futures, and flag. You reap what you sow, and we are sowing the seeds of economic slavery for future generations of "American Children". I guess even economic slavery is for "the children" just like everything else!

    Nader's Dad:

"Why will capitalism always survive? Because socialism will always be there to bail it out."

  • Geez Glenn, when did you become a Kucinich sycophant?!??

[Read the article: The Kucinich court decision and "judicial activism"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

ZOMFG! So now Glenn supports and has endorsed Dodd, Paul, Edwards, McCain... and now Kucinich too!??! Haven't you head that Kucinich claims to have seen a UFO and that means he has no right to do anything except be a crank on the Alex Jones' Show?

GLENN AND DENNIS SITTING IN A TREE

    K-I-S-S-I-N-G

FIRST COMES LOVE, THEN COMES A MARRIAGE UNRECOGNIZED BY THE STATE

THEN COMES GLENN WITH AN ENDORSEMENT FOR KUCINICH ON UNCLAIMED TERRITORY BECAUSE EVERYONE KNOWS THAT DISCUSSION OF A CANDIDATE BY GG IN HIS BLOG = ENDORSEMENT OF SAID CANDIDATE!!1!!11!!!

Oh yeah, and I almost forgot... FUCK CANADA!

  • yawn

Typical Divide and Conquer politicking. Any real news out there?

  • This is "change"

[Read the article: The race vs. gender war]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

When I think of "change", especially establishment change, the first that comes to my mind is to use Divide and Conquer wedge issues and the tired old Problem->Reaction->Solution mentality. How about you?

Change means the President's party starts with a D instead of an R, and that's it. Otherwise everything is business as usual.

    Divide and Conquer.

  • LOL at using divide and conquer as "proof" you don't buy into Divide and Conquer

[Read the article: The race vs. gender war]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

So you bait people by pulling the race card, in order to claim you reject it? You claim that Divide and Conquer is racist, yet your entire "Black Voters do this and Black Voters do that" stinks of dividing people into two groups: "Black Voters" and "Everyone Else". No Divide and Conquer there or anything... Or is it only OK when YOU do it, or people that can relate to YOU? That's real Classy... And it makes a lot of sense....

Black voters reject all of this nonsense..

Get over yourself. You claim to speak for all "Black Voters"? So it is "You" against "everyone else"? "Us" vs. "Them"? How is that not divide and conquer politicking? You claim you reject "divide and conquer" politics, but what do you call this garbage:

Black voters reject fools like Bob Johnson..

Black voters reject church meetings and simpled minded MLK celebrations

Black voters reject all pandering attempts..

Black voters press Obama to step up and campaign like man instead of impotent one drop robot..

Wow, you don't sound like a bigot or anything. Replace the word "black" with "woman" or "man" or "white" and tell me that it isn't exactly what you claim to reject.

All I see is bigotry disguised as a politically correct rant.

  • What do you mean? (Anonymous)

[Read the article: The race vs. gender war]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

It's pretty simple. It means that Thrasher is a bigot obsessed with race.

    This:

Only white liberals used tired impotent civil rigts terms like "divide and conquer'

Black voters reject all of this nonsense..

Black voters reject fools like Bob Johnson..

Black voters reject church meetings and simpled minded MLK celebrations

Black voters reject all pandering attempts..

Black voters press Obama to step up and campaign like man instead of impotent one drop robot..

Could have just as easily been this:

Only white liberals used tired impotent civil rigts terms like "divide and conquer'

All voters reject all of this nonsense..

All voters reject fools like Bob Johnson..

All voters reject church meetings and simpled minded MLK celebrations

All voters reject all pandering attempts..

All voters press Obama to step up and campaign like man instead of impotent one drop robot..

But no. Thrasher is a bigot who thinks in terms of "us" vs. "them", where "them" = "bad", and so the only reasonable solution is that you should think that "them" = "bad" as well.

No. They are ignorant and scared, just like everyone else.
