The Demise of Trust through Bush
[Read the article: The grave Iranian threat to world peace]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Yes, the Childlike Emperor sucks and has done a lot of damage, but...
Do you think that some of that trust, at least a little sliver, a tiny little sliver, has to do with the Democrat's failure to end the war? The Congress holds the power of the purse, and those 40,000 lbs worth of bombs weren't free samples from GE.

giving up the anti-Muslim bigotry
[Read the article: The grave Iranian threat to world peace]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Sure, maybe the right will give up its anti-Muslim bigotry when the left gives up its anti-Religion bigotry.

Energy Efficient Light Bulbs, another sham
[Read the article: The grave Iranian threat to world peace]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Yeah, those super cool CFLs and their supposed "environmental friendliness".
Just make sure you wear your biohazard suit if you accidentally break one of them...
http://daily.stanford.edu/article/2007/11/27/energyefficientBulbsNecessitateMindfulCleanup
After a compact fluorescent lamp (CFL) shatters on the floor, some students may choose to clean up the shards and throw them in the trash. But according to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and California law, all fluorescent lamps and tubes are considered hazardous waste when discarded because they contain mercury.
I see no unintended consequences here or anything... like, this mercury wont end up in the water table because people are neglectful and stupid and won't pay attention and properly follow the mandate or anything like that. After so many decades, people still put Q-tips in their ear canals, how long do you think it will take to condition them to properly dispose of these bulbs?
Another scam from profiteers capitalizing on the perception of "green".

Death trap? Sounds more like "chinese innovation" to me
[Read the article: The grave Iranian threat to world peace]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]The Tata Nano is a death trap. They achieved the $2500 price tag by deleting all the safety features.
Sounds like it would be a good sell in Commie China.
Have you ever seen this video?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F06LjugtIUo
The new 2007 Brilliance BS6 (made in China under the name of Zhonghua) - I guess BS stands for bullshit.
The price will be at least $25,000 /€22.000.
The test was performed at 40 mph (64 km/h) into a deformable object simulating another car.
The head of the driver is supposed to be stopped by the airbag - and not the dashboard.
To open the driver's door afterwards, the test crew had to use a crowbar, a tool that first hand witnesses don't have. It is essential that the door can be opened with little force to aid the passengers. The driver would have suffered severe injuries, maybe would have been dead.
The car achieved only one of possible five stars in the EuroNCAP rating.
The key for a safe car is to build a strong passenger cell and effective crumple zones that absorb the energy. As you can see in the video the passenger cell collapses with fatal results.
sounds right up their alley. I hope the Chinese invest some of our hundreds of billions into it.

thumbs up to the New Republic and thumbs up to ignoring institutionalized bigotry in order to smear a threat
[Read the article: The grave Iranian threat to world peace]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]No bigots over there at TNR or anything. But of course, it is easy to put all the other hate aside and form a LGF-KOS smear alliance when politicking.
Maybe all of the Pharisees at Salon can chew on this and answer a question for me?
Is it not a terrible shame that a so-called racist is the ONLY candidate on both sides that is openly talking about the war on drugs and its institutionalized racism?
In fact, here he is in 1988 saying the exact same things he is saying now:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IHB2I83_N_k
There are no sound bites or bylined writings of him saying anything remotely close to those newsletters, not to mention the other M$M stories from the past that contradiction the TNR piece.
Why aren't the Democrats, such champions of civil rights and equality, discussing pardoning more nonviolent offenders than anyone else in America in over a century? Where is Mr. Populist, John Edwards, when it comes to ending the drug war and pardoning non-violent drug offenders? He talks big to the kids but then equivocated about Marijuana prohibition when the light was on him at the debates.
Pretty sad that only a supposed racist is talking about the racism in the war on drugs, and ending it, but I guess politically correct lip service denouncing racism while you turn the US into a surveillance state private prison system that has proven time and again to be institutionally racist is just as good.

laughable
[Read the article: The grave Iranian threat to world peace]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]For my money, the entire Republican platform is hardly anything but vicious racism. The entire thing hinges on Americans continuing to confuse Iraqis, Iranians, Syrians, Saudi Arabians, and the different religious strains affected.
For one thing, I wasn't talking about the "Republican Platform", let alone the "Entire" thing, which is just a different flavor of blind statism. I was talking about Ron Paul's platform. If you think that Ron Paul's platform is no different than Mitt Romney's, Huckabee's, or McCain's, then you haven't been paying attention.
Two, do you really think that the Saudis are "confused" by US Forgiegn Policy? That is laughable, the Saudis know exactly what is going on, they are an integral part of this "confusion" you speak. If you think that the Saudis aren't playing the US like fools, or that Saudi Arabia doesn't have an agenda and is simply "Confused by the US", then you are extremely naive. Where do you think Islamic Fundamentalism propagated from? From under the short skirt of a white feminist voting in the NH primary?
Do you even pay any attention to things outside of your favorite leftist rags?

[Read the article: The grave Iranian threat to world peace]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I didn't catch your sarcasm. My bad.
