  • Shouldn't you prove your premise first, tiger?

why do YOU think the Iranians are trying to get our ships to fire on them?

Can prove your assumption that the Iranians were trying to get us to fire on them in the first place, you know, before you ask me why? Or am I just supposed to take your word for it?

  • ah, I was just waiting for "The New Republic" to come from LWM

Yeah, those newsletters... LWM's favorite "shiny object".

Kirchick, a frothing at the mouth, unholy demon spawn of the worst parts of neoliberal/neocon doctrine, and Ghouliani sycophant, smearing Ron Paul the day of the NH Primary. No politicking going on there.

the newsletter has a line about buying an issue of GQ, but in the NYT article about Paul, GQ comes up:

    http://www.nytimes.com/2007/07/22/magazine/22Paul-t.html

“GQ wants to profile you on Thursday,” Benton continues. “I think it’s worth doing.”

    “GTU?” the candidate replies.

    “GQ. It’s a men’s magazine.”

“Don’t know much about that,” Paul says.

The claims that Ron Paul said he is supposedly training and encouraging his family to arm themselves:

"I frankly don't know what to make of such advice, but even in my little town of Lake Jackson, Texas, I've urged everyone in my family to know how to use a gun in self defense. For the animals are coming."

Yet he doesn't even own a gun, according to the Tucker story, a story that was published on TNR...

    http://www.tnr.com/politics/story.html?id=83665295-1de6-4571-af9c-0a90f6d1fde0

He is a Second Amendment absolutist who doesn't own a gun. "I've only fired one a couple of times in my life. I've never gotten around to killing anything."

Ron Paul must be using training videos... Claims that he wrote those letters really hold a lot of water...

And of course only a racist would want to end the war on drugs and pardon non violent drug offenders, a majority of which are Blacks and Latinos. It is easy for politicians to pay lip service to political correctness while endorsing the "war on drugs", which is well known to disproportionately affect minorities, and ignore the extremely high probability that those pardons and drug law changes would free the most minorities since Lincoln.

Links from the Warmongering Media. Color me convinced that Iran has a deathwish...

  • Ron Paul: 72 year old country doctor, or evil genius supervillian?

[Read the article: The grave Iranian threat to world peace]

He even has "minorities" that worked for him fooled, here is one that is actually saying he isn't an evil racist supervillian, closeted Grand Wizard...

    http://stewart-rhodes.blogspot.com/2008/01/i-am-mexican-american-i-worked-for-ron.html

I worked for Ron Paul, in his Washington D.C. office, in 1998-99, seeing him almost every day, and saw absolutely no indication of him being racist, and in fact, I saw many reasons to know he is not racist.

Dr. Paul, genius supervillian. Charles Xavier obviously has nothing on Ron Paul's mastery of perception and mind manipulation. Dr. Paul makes Lex Luther look like the Walrus.

  • beneath you.

Please. LWM will do whatever it takes to distract you from analyzing its 2nd hand platitudes and hand-me-down sound bite information, raking the bottom of the muckiest barrels, barrels it claims to hate so much and be so ideologically against. The muckiest barrels are fine with LWM when they provide it with URLs it can use to run in circles playing Divide and Conquer.

  • the pot calling the kettle black

In any case, the time is long overdue for sane [subgroup] do drop the charade and get rid of the bigots, racists and [subgroup's perceived political leaning]-wing conspiracy extremists that have taken over the dialog of the party in the last several years.

Couldn't [subgroup] apply to more than just "Libertarians"? Couldn't it also be applied to, I don't know, the two major parties that have all the power? Isn't politics just a bunch of extremists on soap boxes anyway?

  • It's just hidden in the closet.

    No picture of Hitler. Honest.

Did you look in his closet? How about in his associates' offices and closets?

  • If you watched the debates though, this election isn't about how to deal with Iran

[Read the article: The grave Iranian threat to world peace]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

This election isn't about how to deal with Iran, or the economy, or civil liberties. It is about who loves Ronald Reagan and who hates America. It is either one or the other. It is time to "look forward" and bring "change" by canonizing the Gipper.

  • I wasn't unconvinced from my original assessment of the guy.

[Read the article: The grave Iranian threat to world peace]

Gee, I'm surprised by this... Like I care about explaining anything to you that hasn't been hashed over for 15 years, and besides, when it comes to being a narrow minded bigot, you're the expert.

No thanks, not going to let you hijack your own warmongering cheerleader routine. I'm having much more fun watching you play apologist for American Imperialism using fearmongering techniques straight out of the neoconservative play book.

  • Oh darn, time to give up I guess....

[Read the article: The grave Iranian threat to world peace]

Please point me in the direction of another presidential candidate, from either party, that is an acceptable antiwar candidate, and isn't an "all options are on the table" warmonger under the wing of the War Party. Oh wait, there isn't one.

  • You saw his rebuttal, it was the same as last time.

Draw your own conclusions. I am not going to play apologist for him. You are only trying to bait me into this meme you and others are now trying to nurture, and will rake whatever muck and spin whatever story or lie you see to make it stick. If he's not racist he is incompetent, and on and on it goes, etc. etc. If it isn't one thing it will be another. I don't think he is either, I think he believes in free speech and was more focused on delivering babies than micromanaging everything about a newsletter that had already been out for many years.

Like I said, I have much more fun watching a "hardcore lefist" play cheerleader for a warmongering military industrial complex than play apologist for a 15 year old story that is someone "new" just because it was drudged up by muckraking neolib/neocon Ghouliani warmongers and played on CNN.

You know why Ghouls panders to gays, right? Do you think it is because Ghouls really believes in "gay rights"? Hardly, warmongering neolib "log cabin republicans" like James Kirchick and his ilk are why Rudy shows up in parades.
