  • LMAO @ U!

[Read the article: The Bhutto test]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

we will actively work against him in any manner possible- me included.

Yeah right. You won't do a damn thing besides complain on the Internet and you know it. Put your money where your mouth is. At least Ron Paul supporters know who they are voting for in their primary.

News Flash to the fearsome keyboard warriors against Ron Paul, he is the one with the real grassroots, and the message is more than the man.

We'll see what happens in the next couple of weeks, all of you sane haters out there. In the meantime, why don't you make up more stories and tell me what a nazi/racist/isolationist he is, because sane people must think he is somehow a racist nazi. How sane.

/yawn, same shit different day from the haters. It never sticks but they keep throwing it.

And at least Ron Paul has the war. Leftists everywhere are pissing their pants because if Paul gets the nod, he'll flank almost every single one of them on the war, a supposed Secred Cow of true believer establishment leftists.

  • neoconservative? sounds more neoliberal to me

[Read the article: Michael Bloomberg: Trans-partisan savior]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

stridently pro-gun-control, pro-choice, socially liberal... combat-avoiding, Bush-supporting, Middle-East-warmonger who sees U.S. and Israeli interests as indistinguishable and inextricably linked, with a fetish for ever-increasing government control and surveillance, and a background as a Wall St. billionaire.

way to describe the status quo, lol. Take big government from both sides and put them together, what's that spell? Compromise!

You don't have to be a neocon to be a warmonger, although you do have to be a warmonger to be a neocon. An Israel-first interventionist uber-statist warmonger who wants to control your behavior, sounds like the perfect super nanny to lead the sheep in the welfare/warfare police state.

I wonder if he supports an investigation into the assassination of Bhutto? You know, since it is our business and everything... So is Russia going to launch an independent investigation into who killed Martin Luther King? I'm sure the findings will be that OBL and friends were involved, and we will send Pakistan more money and further intervene over there. The money will be used by Mr. Military Dictator to be a Military Dictator, and hey, maybe we'll send some troops in too and kill some shit! That way those scum bags can see what US "Democracy" is all about (as if they didn't already know). Santa Claus will have a bunch more names on his Al CIAda naughty list from the awesome recruiting effort that comes with the perception of dictatorship and oppression! Merry Christmas Pakistan, more US money and National Interests are heading your way!

All the talk is not if we are going to do anything, but what? And how much? More meddling... Merry Christmas, OBL.

  • Welcome to Salon

you sure sound like a narrow minded bigot this morning.

Welcome to Salon, where the ultimate irony is that these so-called bigot hunters are the biggest and worst bigots of them all.

  • Here is how an argument on Salon goes:

[Read the article: Michael Bloomberg: Trans-partisan savior]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

    Person A: I think X

    Person B: X is wrong, I hate X, X is racist/sexist/antisemitic/stupid because I believe in Y. You're a bigot because I hate everything about X.

Rinse and Repeat until you throw up.

  • and don't forget

[Read the article: Michael Bloomberg: Trans-partisan savior]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

to post most of the hate anonymously, that way you can look like less of a smallminded bigot, while claiming everyone who doesn't think like you, say religious people, are nothing but morons who are beneath you.

Salon's comment sections are the home to many a closeted, divide and conquer, hatemongering bigot.

TIME TO HATE SOMEONE MERELY BECAUSE THEY BELONG TO A CERTAIN SUBGROUP (unless that subgroup happens to be female, or black, or gay. They get a pass when it comes to bigotry and calling others bigoted).

    WEDGE ISSUES INCOMING!!

  • say what you want, it's true

[Read the article: Michael Bloomberg: Trans-partisan savior]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

    It's true

    big·ot /ˈbɪgət/ Pronunciation[big-uht]

    –noun

a person who is utterly intolerant of any differing creed, belief, or opinion.

Describes most of the comments on Salon perfectly. Just because you claim to "love the poor" doesn't mean you aren't a smallminded bigot who hates "everyone else".

  • and if you want proof

[Read the article: Michael Bloomberg: Trans-partisan savior]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

just read any article on Salon that mentions "religion" or the "environment" (funny seeing as how they are becomming the same thing).

Read the comments of any article about religion, and you'll see these so-called tolerant and enlightened Salon Commenters go off the handle and start calling religious people smallminded retards, simply because they are religious.

Of course, if an article about black people appeared on Salon, these same people wouldn't be calling black people "stupid n words", simply because they are black.

  • I knew that was coming

[Read the article: Michael Bloomberg: Trans-partisan savior]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

So what? So hating people simply because they believe in god isn't a choice either?

  • the regulatory power of the federal government

[Read the article: Is Rudy hearing Ron Paul's footsteps?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

You mean the former lobbyists that end up heading the organizations they used to lobby against?

  • so what?

but I would contend that it's better to fix a broken system than to dismantle it and hope that will fix everything -- especially when one side of the equation (corporate interests) has a disproportionate amount of power.

How is that equation going to change again? That's right, it's not, not with any of the greedy power whores we call elitists controlling the status quo. Instead, the Establishment reminds us that we should be bickering about issues that only affect subsets of us, you know, the big time wedge issues that keep us distracted while they pilfer everyone else's wealth.

  • Kunicich? lol, he sold out

[Read the article: Clinton looks calm, composed despite bad poll news]

Just like he did in 04.

  • Easy solution

16 states sue the Environmental Protection Agency over its refusal to allow California to regulate greenhouse gas emissions from automobiles.

Vote for Ron Paul, and California can be as Communitarian as it wants to be. See, "State's Rights" works both ways, and isn't just an excuse to be racist or a way for government to sell out the people to big corporations.

  • Why not?

They are just as "moderate" as the coming savior, Emperor Bloomberg.

  • The lame duck...

    waddles off to bed.

  • OMFG I'M TOTALLY SHOCKED BY THIS!

[Read the article: 9/11 Commission: Our investigation was "obstructed"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

ZOMG GAIS! Look! An article that discusses some aspect of 9/11 turns into physics class. I'm shocked by this result, as it is a new and interesting phenomena.

If only people thought calculus was this much fun in high school and college.
