Original article: The fuel on the hill

Too many people?

Today there are over 6 billion people worldwide. That is expected to go over 9 billion by 2050. Even if we reduce our per capita carbon footprint by 50 percent, the 50% increase in world population will wipe that out completely. This is the elephant in the room everyone is ignoring.

So why don't you make yourself into an example and sterilize the rest of your family?

I guess what you really mean is, "the Government should sterilize poor people because they breed to much". that is the dirty little secret of the bleeding heart "liberal" when it talks about "too many people". What do you want to do? Sterilize people? One child policies like China? Population control really turns out well, doesn't it? Say hi to the Chinese orphan girls for me.

The fact is that Marxists and capitalists have more in common than they'd like to admit.

"Why will Capitalism always survive? Because socialism will be there to bail it out."

Buying groceries with Liberty Dollars would be closer to the reality of what he saying, not all of this "19th century" fearmongering smearshit

The things is though, the Federal Reserve, the ones running the counterfeiting machines, don't want any competition from a competing currency:

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/11/16/AR2007111602267.html

Only the state has the right to produce money and I guess it is a good thing too, because otherwise the slimy Byzantine snake pit we call the establishment wouldn't be able to keep up the counterfeiting operation that enables us to police the world.

It is so simple a child should be able to understand it. The basic premise never changes: A nation becomes an Empire and spreads itself to thin. The leaders are too chickenshit to tax the serfs for their imperialistic adventures, so they come up with scams to inflate the currency and spend that instead. That is what Ron Paul wants to stop, he wants to turn off the Military Industrial Complex's printing press. With that in mind, is it really no wonder that he is being smeared the way he is? Same shit, different day, except that the Empire isn't about to let some 72 year old country doctor from Texas pull the plug on the three trillion dollar a year honey pot of murder and mayhem.

Of course, it's a good thing this is a blog for opinions, like the horror stories I hear, instead of facts, which take a back seat to emotional appeals and fear.

Original article: McCain's last stand?

Just an FYI for you all

McCain isn't even worth the two pages of html needed for this article. The rEVOLution is going to clean McCain's clock in Iowa and put a fork in him in New Hampshire.

@DCLaw

When I sarcastically mentioned this morning that this thread would turn into a raving Ron Paul For President debate, how stupid I was not to realize it would turn into a raving abortion debate. Ugh.

Come on, man. All I see are principles regarding abortion being selectively and subjectively applied in order to create a wedge in what is becoming a full-spectrum antiwar movement. It seems to me like Dana Goldstein is scared and doesn't want to share the "antiwar movement", so she is trying to drive in a wedge to keep everyone on her "side", and in doing so keep the power, perception, and influence of being perceived as the driving force in the antiwar movement squarely where she thinks it belongs, with her and her ilk.

You hate torture? I hate torture too! You dislike war? I dislike war too? What about Abortion? Uh....

Um, yeah, I'm pretty sure you get my point.

Of course it was going to become the main topic. Divide and Conquer.

Or, you could move to China

you have the luxury of considering the subject of reproductive rights a purely academic one.

And in China it is considered a purely economic one!

LWM is going to love this...

Happy Holidays, LWM, whatever you are.

Geez, they went to a rally and got their pic taken (RP's campaign manager is in the pic too), so I imagine LWM will be linking this for me soon. Maybe LWM should log onto its LGF account and join in the bigoted straw grasp. Maybe you should change your handle from LWM to LGF, since you all have so much in common.

RP has more than a shot

he will be on Meet the Press this sunday. Oh, and anti-establishment Huckabee's is cozying right up to the heart of the beast, one of his advisors is the president of the CFR. He is under the wing of the War Party.

GG's book will be just in time. Just in time to watch the GOP establishment use the tricks he describes against Paul when he is the nominee. I wouldn't want to be an electronic voting machine in about two weeks, lol.

ya think?

Me thinks you assume too much. I claim no ownership for Ron Paul's ideas or politics. As for my historical perspective, this is another conclusion made without knowing the facts. You are quick to judge based upon information you do not have. The habit of a fool.

In the mysterious and fearful land of the Interwebber imagination, Ron Paul is going to turn the public schools over to Enron and eat your children. ARE U SCARED YET?
