At least Chatbots actually hear what their leaders are saying
[Read the article: Various items]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Here's my thought: some Americans have been (hopefully temporarily) damaged in such a way that their brains do not "think" like normal peoples', but they only repeat what they hears with minor contextual variations, like a parrot or chatbot (or Fry from Futurama.)
Shooters recent apparent plunge in intellect may be the result of increasing decoherence in the RWNM: the frames are bumping into each other, the news from around the world is refusing to play ball, and the main personalities in the RW narrative are being revealed as craven, unprincipled slime.
It is hard to say what will happen to these poor souls on the day FOX News shuts its doors, they may be reduced to zombies, but hopefully the effect will be more like fog clearing.
Is it safe to assume that if the guy is posting on this site that he reads more than, or at least is aware of, more than just the right wing outlets? Reading the other side, isn't that what everyone lets journalists do so that they don't have to think for themselves or form their own opinions? Thankfully the People have partisan blogs to tell them what to think and what positions to take.
I say that because this site is extremely partisan. If your argument is that he is confused because he only believes/reads the news from one side then the pot is most likely calling the kettle black because a lot of people on this site and others act in exactly the same way. Most people stick to their partisan blog circles instead of looking at what the other side is saying. It is pretty sad when people can only watch "their" party debate, and then do nothing but spew vitriol and hate in the comments of an article that merely summarizes what happens. It was obvious that nobody that reacted even watched clips or read the synopsis of the debate. They just look at it as more opportunities to comment on how much they hate what they perceive as nothing but rich old white men.
Maybe instead of watching "Rescue Me", the People should pay attention to both sides of the aisle, but then how would Salon come up with clever article titles and serve up that "lets hate rich old white men" slop if people are doing their own reading?
It is amusing to me that you call people chatbots because "they only repeat what they hears with minor contextual variations, like a parrot or chatbot". Well, maybe this is selective memory, but many on the left can't even do that properly. Pelosi sold out to AIPAC almost immediately after becoming Speaker and has said on the record that impeachment is off the table. A good "chatbot" would parrot that line, no? Well, at least the "chatbots" on the "right" actually HEAR the lines. Instead of listening to Pelosi (the FIRST step in being a Chatbot, no?), the "left" continues on its merry anti-Bush crusade, all the while through either ignorance or denial they don't hear what their Party's leadership is saying. I still hear the same "Impeach! Impeach! No more War! No bombing Iran!" crap from the "left" when the message coming from the leadership is that both options are off of the table.

I forgot the link
[Read the article: Various items]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Sorry I forgot the link but I am not vain enough to quote myself and I know what plagiarism is, notice the "tabbing" on the quote.
The first set of blockquote tags goes link -> blockquote, I just forgot to put the second link before the second link -> blockquote, but the link you listed is the one I got it from.
Thanks for the correction/clarification.

And the article
[Read the article: Various items]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]And the article I read that linked to the blog was on the site of everyone's favorite Christian Zionist, the always entertaining Alex Jones.

I'm telling Bill Kristol that there are liberal lurkers on his site.
[Read the article: Various items]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Everyone knows that right wingers only read The National Review, The Weekly Standard, and Guns and Ammo while scheming on their blogs about the best way to blow up the local Planned Parenthood in order to force poor minorities into expensive back alley coat hanger clinics that rob them of their medicine money. Just like the left spends all its time hating Bush while trying to take my money and give it to poor minorities so that they can get abortions at Planned Parenthood.

@ Retired
[Read the article: Various items]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I usually read a lot of postings before I start commenting
Then read the comment about how I forgot the link, thanked him for posting it, and then I mentioned what site I got the blog link from for good measure. Again, if you look you'll see what I posted was in "quote" tags, although I have to say that the blockquote style chosen for this site is poor at best, but at least it is the same font... Who is vain enough to quote themselves and then try to pass it off as their own anyway?
And this site isn't partisan? The people making comments might not be but I'd like to take a count of how many Democratic puff pieces I've read on here vs how many Republican puff pieces I've read. I bet I can count off the top of my head. Lets see... hmmmm.... Democrats = a bunch, Republicans = somewhere around 0.
