How do you say?
[Read the article: Harry Reid -- compare and contrast]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Police State.
Dodd's Filibuster? Sorry but there are no tits, ass, and violent action sequences on the Floor of the Senate, hence no eyeballs during primetime...
How about that 6 Million Dollar man? Nah, that is not serious news, either.
The real news out there is this: The War Party and the Establishment want Mr. Crazy McBombBomb for the top spot! Keep up the killing, they say! There are war profits are to be made!
Pretty cool how the War Party and the establishment distract everyone with neocon-come-lately Holy Joe and McCrazy, eh?
Even good ol' Salon has played along, judging from the multitude of McCain/Huckster distractions on the front page.

Ask the Ball a yes or no question...
[Read the article: Holiday gift: Reid pulls FISA bill]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Will this get Dodd votes in the Primaries? Will this make Dodd a "Top Democrat"?
Magic 8-Ball says: Don't count on it

Is this going to get Dodd votes?
[Read the article: Harry Reid -- compare and contrast]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]It should... but will it? Will it really? I mean, what if Hillary farted? If Hillary farted it would get more play then Dodd is going to get, at least to the masses watching News Channel 5 on local TV in Iowa. Pretty sad, but it's true.
Bill, Endorsements, and the Huckster.
FISA? WHATSA?

The Chris Dodd Challenge:
[Read the article: Harry Reid -- compare and contrast]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Raise over 6 Million in a day for Dodd, so that he continue to be marginalized by the Media.
You know how that goes! LOLOL!

hmmmm
[Read the article: Harry Reid -- compare and contrast]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]screw the MSM, meet the internets. if the fringes are deciding elections nowadays, then i'm riding by the seat o' my pants! huzzah!
I'm trying to thinking of something negative to make you sound more ridiculous and condescending then you already do. I guess I'm not that clever.
Speaking of the Interwebs, have you ever heard of Ron Paul? What is your opinion of lolcats? I heard that 2girls1cup was running 3rd party.

My point was
[Read the article: Harry Reid -- compare and contrast]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I am not hating on Dodd. My point was that, just like someone else who broke fund raising records yesterday, this won't get as much play as Hillary on a helicopter or Huckabee taking a dump, even though it should.

"here we like democrats."
[Read the article: Harry Reid -- compare and contrast]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Yes, and the myopic left/right D/R establishment true believer attitude is why you fail. You expect the Democrats to protect you from the "bad guys" when they can't even protect you from themselves.

Gross
[Read the article: Meghan McCain is not Chelsea Clinton]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]It doesn't surprise me, McCain is as creepy as the old man sex that his then 49 year old body would have had to perform to conceive his now 23 year old daughter. He is like the kids I knew in high school who had parents that were in their late 60s and 70s. They were weird, McCain is weird.
-
thanks :D
[Read the article: Meghan McCain is not Chelsea Clinton]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]You should hope for the same when you get here.
I'm just tickled that you are making the assumption that I am somehow attractive to younger people now and all I need to do is keep it up.

Yeah right
[Read the article: World to America: Cool down]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Time for We the People to make sacrifices for the National Interest, ride your bike to work and cut the power at 9:00pm. Go buy some depleted uranium, missiles, tanks, bombers, and shit like that, then you'll get a pass to trash the environment.

LOL at Huckabee being "anti-establishment"
[Read the article: Media hostility toward anti-establishment candidates]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Because we all know that the sign of an Anti-Establishment outsider means your words start appearing in the pages of Foreign Affairs, and you give speaches to the CFR that are subsequently published on their website. The Huckster pays his tribute to the elitists and viola, he is popular.
http://www.foreignaffairs.org/author/michael-d-huckabee/index.html
http://www.cfr.org/publication/14335/
If Huckabee is an "outsider", he sure is taking the fast track to "insider" status.
-
It doesn't matter because they won't ask.
[Read the article: Media hostility toward anti-establishment candidates]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]You are making the assumption that there is a probability that they will even ask him. They won't.

How is this piece negative towards any of the three that are mentioned?
[Read the article: Media hostility toward anti-establishment candidates]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I just think it is really neat how "anti-establishment" Huckabee pays a visit to the CFR and gives a speech back in September. According to RealClearPolitics the Huckster was polling between 4% and 5%:
http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/charts/?poll_id=192
In October he is still polling at ~5% while Paul is at 3%. Both are polling low, but where was Paul's invitation to speak to the CFR? Or the other low polling candidates for that matter? They must have gotten lost in the mail.
And then less than two months later the Huckster is mainstream and on top of the news cycle. Amazing how these things work. The CFR must be the masters of foresight.
-
Although seeing a piece by Ron Paul in Foreign Affairs would be hilarious
[Read the article: Media hostility toward anti-establishment candidates]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]It would be like Joe Klein writing about how sleazy and shady Time is, and I'm sure the CFR doesn't want Dr. No writing about how the CFR's interventionist rag contributes to the agenda of the War Party and the Establishment.

false
[Read the article: Media hostility toward anti-establishment candidates]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]This problem would not be solved by Paul, Edwards and Huckabee getting more and more favorable media coverage. That would be interesting, but would reinforce that money is the only criteria that matters, and we've seen its ruinous effect not only on our elections, but our office-holders too.
That would be true, if, you know, Ron Paul wasn't the only one of the three that actually has money. Money was a criteria that mattered, until Paul got some and Huckabee had none. Huckster's supporters have a goal of 5M for the 4th quarter, Paul beat that in a day. Huck's Army even tried to have a money bomb, but like all the other copycats, it failed. The difference was that Huck's Army got butthurt and attacked RP supporters for the lack of contributions, claiming that the rEVOLution was fueled by cynicism and hate, while Huckster is about "compassion and hope". Great, more "compassion", I guess 8 years of it wasn't enough.

There needs to be a Vice-Vice-President
[Read the article: Media hostility toward anti-establishment candidates]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]First Black, Woman PresidentThere needs to be a third office like Assintant to the Vice President. They could find a gay guy, each take a position, and complete the trifecta.

er, correction... and stupid tags....
[Read the article: Media hostility toward anti-establishment candidates]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]First Black, Woman President
I meant to say gay person in order to complete the trifecta. Trying to be politically correct is difficult...
