It's the same militarized interventionist mindset that drives our foreign policy adventures that drives the War on Pot, er I mean the War on Drugs. Wars on things. Dominate markets. They all share the same objectives they are interconnected and part of the same underlying interventionist nastiness.
It isn't always about money, just like our foreign policy isn't all about money. Yes, profits and promotions are nice, but for those carrying out the policy there is more to it than that. There are those that like to make a sport of it, the Crusaders. The State says what is evil and the Crusaders smite the evil. Fun and glory seekers, a drug in itself according to Chris Hedges. But of course the Crusaders do not see the irony of fueling their addiction going after users of a drug that is not addictive and has industrial applications.
The Empire is humorless and cannot admit its mistakes. Like other Government programs it got its hooks in deep and they are difficult to remove. The establishment is obsessed with manners and seriousness no jesters allowed. No making fun because it is too easy to poke holes in the tapestry of lies.
No it isn't silly it is reality because "stoners" already do it anyway, already get stoned 24 hours a day, they are just used to it and have learned strategies to get away with it undetected. Not to mention the fact that most people couldn't tell if a stoner was stoned unless it reeked of weed, had bloodshot eyes, dreadlocks, a tie-dyed shirt, and slurred speech, unlike the ability to tell if anyone is drunk a lot easier.
The "stoners" are all around you, everywhere, wake and baking, asking you to take drug tests for the corporations they work for. They are just smart about it and use visine, take showers and/or use cologne, and take care of their teeth and breath.
It isn't hard to do those things and I bet more people have a secret routine than most people assume. And that goes for other drugs as well, like the perfect nuclear three child family next door in the 3000 sq. foot house and a garage full of BMWs and Lexus' whose matriarch is a prescription pill popper.
It is good that Grayson wants to pull the plug on the Empire. He speaks blasphemies against the Church of State, dishonoring its make-believers. You can never have too much of that.
Agenda 21 is the subversion of property and individual rights by authoritarians, with cleverly titled "Sustainable Development Programs". It is no secret and has been around over 15 years now it is all on the UN website. Top-down central planning and control of pretty much everything, sounds innovative doesn't it?

Agenda21
Agenda 21 is a comprehensive plan of action to be taken globally, nationally and locally by organizations of the United Nations System, Governments, and Major Groups in every area in which human impacts on the environment.
i.e. everything.
In the Rio Declaration there are 26 principles the words freedom, democracy, government, voluntary aren't mentioned a single time, the word citizen is used once. It is just decrees to states from unelected bureaucrats. States shall do this states shall do that decrees the bureaucrat at the top of the global scientific dictatorship.

But what do they care about the systems of Government that are carrying out their decrees? Who Cares as long as they are protecting the environment and acting "peaceful" towards each other.
Principle 23
The environment and natural resources of people under oppression, domination and occupation shall be protected.
Principle 24
Warfare is inherently destructive of sustainable development. States shall therefore respect international law providing protection for the environment in times of armed conflict and cooperate in its further development, as necessary.
Principle 25
Peace, development and environmental protection are interdependent and indivisible.
Who cares if a society is free? As long as it is considered sustainable. That's free enough.
Wait so you are paying attention to me now? So when do you leave for Af-Pak?
The Af-Pak escalation takes two steps forward, one step forward. New leak is claiming 60k to 80k? We need a draft so we can give the General the half a million he so desperately needs.
Keep compromising. It's cute.
Revenge. Blow off a little steam. Have a little fun. Gamble on the black market. Fix stuff. Dominate. Goosestep behind the flag-bearer.
My God man, where is your pride?
Speaking of commies and the environment...

I don't know who this guy is, just thought the video was good.
Who cares? And how is the choice between force and force anything but an apology for force?
Speaking of humor is it supposed to be a sick joke that Mr. Keillor is filed under "Politics" with this new Salon format? Shouldn't he be under "Life" or "Entertainment" if he is so hokey? Maybe Joan Walsh should move Mr. Keillor's archive there if his fans are unhappy with those that criticize his policy recommendations?
I wonder if the folks that were held without charge and murdered by agents of the US Government died with smiles on their faces, thinking about twenty-something poon? After all, life really was too short for those folks. I wonder if the people that we murdered in cages as we held them without charges died thinking of who makes the tastiest potato salad?
