It must be hard to be a True Believer right about now...

Naomi Wolf wrote an article:

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/naomi-wolf/finally-action-ron-pau_b_69042.html

On Monday, Rep. Ron Paul, the outsider Republican presidential candidate who has long upheld these values and who was an early voice warning of the grave danger to all of us of these abuses, introduced the AFA's legislative package into Congress. (The mainstream press has an irrational habit of disparaging outsider candidates -- as if corrupt money and machine endorsements equal seriousness of purpose -- even though the Founders hoped that the system they established would lead citizens, ideally those unembedded in the establishment, to offer their service to the nation.) It is the American Freedom Agenda Act of 2007, and you should read it in its entirety: just as accounts of the recent abuses send chills down your spine, this beautifully argued document feels historic and has the ring of great power to correct great injustice.

You can read it in its entirety here:

What an evil Republican monster that Dr. Paul is...

pig farming hicks...

Funny, if I hadn't laid off the moonshine I'd have fallen off of my tractor.

Get this, you can get the Internet anywhere. Why, to make such a claim would be like a "pig farming hick" in Iowa implying that artsy-fartsy coffee drinking city folk shouldn't make the decisions because they are too busy being shallow and self-absorbed, enjoying the smell of their own fats. Ya dig?

Perhaps you are the simple one here? If I recall, the science of modern farming and the skills needed to successfully manage a large farm are lot more rigorous than "art skills". And besides, we'll who the "pig farming hicks" are when you go and see what the "farmers" buy with the farmland they sold/sell to housing developers, and in a place where the cost of living is a fraction of what it is in a Metropolis. They aren't as stupid as you might think they are, but I guess Midwesterners in multiple thousand square foot houses only exist on TV in Beverly Hills.

Cry More, L.W.M, nobody cares what grumpy old people have to say either.

Nevermind. We know. You should just STFU. Neither of you have any right to talk.

I didn't vote for GWB, smart guy. 350 pages of smarmy comments and love letters to Glenn Greenwald, would that give me "the right" to talk? Would that give me "the right" to tell other people if they can or can't talk? No.

All I see in your letters is crying. Whaa Whaa, the electorate is stupid, except for me. Whaa Whaa, everyone is stupid and annoying, except for me. Whaa Whaa, nobody gets it, except for me. 350 pages of emotional rants, somebody call the Whambulance...

So smart. You're so goddamn smart. Except you ain't, smart guy. You're a nobody, just like me, no matter how many pages of letters you rack up. You're just a tired, grumpy, old person. Everyone is annoying, everyone is stupid, blah blah. If you disappeared today, nobody would notice. Let me know when your 350+ pages worth of rants on Salon change the world, instead of amounting, in the end, to a waste of time, kind of like a person who spent years recording 1,000s of movies on VHS tapes.

I get it L.W.M., I know why you are so upset...

From your first letter:

I'm comfotable with the fact that I am a bit of an "extremist". I have not spoken to any Republicans in my own family in over ten years, including my own mother. They can't take a joke either.

I see why you are so angry now... good ol' "Mommy issues". Does somebody need some hugs and kisses?

one more thing, L.W.M.

It must be hard to be a True Believer Democrat right about now, wouldn't you say? It's pretty sad that the crazy ol' lunatic Dr. Paul is pushing the AFA agenda forward, something that the Democrats should have done months ago, don't ya think? It must really sting that Paul is getting the attention he is from Liberals and Democrats due to his integrity.

On Monday, Rep. Ron Paul, the outsider Republican presidential candidate who has long upheld these values and who was an early voice warning of the grave danger to all of us of these abuses, introduced the AFA's legislative package into Congress.

Like I said, it must really suck to be a True Beleiver right about now. But I guess only Republicans are stupid enough to be duped...

"Just because you say it doesn't mean it is true"

Again, ^^

Paul is the same candidate that was completely written off and ignored when he announced, and he has outlasted three other candidates. According to the MSM, Giuliani supposedly "killed" Paul's campaign during their 9/11 exchange at the first debate, didn't happen. I hear all of these supposed "reasons" why Paul is supposed to fail, and he has defied every one of them. The supposed last place horse has a 114% increase in campaign contributions during the Q3, the only positive increase among Republicans.

Wasn't Fred Thompson also supposed to come in and clean house? Yeah, that didn't happen either. Kind of like the cakewalk in Iraq.

Forgive me if I think that all the supposed reasons people give for why Paul can't succeed aren't worth anything because Paul has more than surpassed expectations. According to these same people, Paul should have been the first person leaving the race, and doing it with empty coffers, because he is an outsider.

And as someone mentioned, there is another issue that Paul has in his pocket that the others can't get near him on, Guns. Paul supporters aren't stupid, and multiple groups of people in my meetup group alone go to gun shows all over the region to spread the word.

Paul supporters have been told that he doesn't have a chance since day one, yet he continues to defy expectations. Don't be too shocked when Paul does better than expected in the Primaries.

Maybe Scoop and Dump should run for office in Italy.
