Your error is that you assume I voted for Bush

Bush is nothing but a blue-blooded frat cult owl worshipping old boy's club establishment elitist who duped people by pretending to be a cowboy playing pick-up-sticks in TX. Some people new that before he was elected President, and among other reasons, didn't vote for him. I know it can be difficult to believe that SOME people who criticize the "left" didn't vote for Bush the Jr. Pagan Hillbilly or fall for the lies of the neocons, but to automatically assume so is a common tactic among those who are so blinded by their hatred for Bush they can't see that Bush and his cabal hijacked the party and instead assume that everyone is a supporter. That is just not true, in fact, even Salon's beloved GG once supported Bush (unless Amazon's description of How Would a Patriot Act? is a lie) while some people NEVER supported him:

He also gave President Bush the benefit of the doubt over his decision to invade Iraq.

Not everyone who believes in limited government fell for Bush's lies, and some of us have been following Ron Paul for many years. He was warning The People about the neocons in a House Floor Speech in 2003 called Neoconned, but The People weren't listening. He was warning us about the Iraq war and saw it coming when he voted against "regime change" in 1998, but The People weren't listening. He is not about flip flops, soft money, junkets, or emotional appeals, he is about having a consistent record. He also isn't afraid to confront the all-powerful Lobby, the Saudis, the bankers, and the myth that is the "War on Terror". That isn't something that can be said about front runners who have to meticulously wordsmith everything they mouth.

"Moderating the Fox Debate", i.e. "Mastering the Straw Man"

He took Paul’s statements about the causal affects of foreign policy (i.e.: some terrorism being sparked by our presence in the Middle East), and removed context and put words in his mouth that perfectly fit the right-wing talking points: “You are essentially saying that the U.S. should take its marching orders from Al Qaeda.”."

It is called a "Straw Man", if anyone actually watched the debate, Wallace and the gang used it almost every time they asked Paul a question. Take someone's words out of context or directly misquote them to build a Straw Man argument, then "refute" it and ask the person for a rebuttal. Real classy. Paul even said that they were quoting him incorrectly the first time they did it.

Limited government for the rich, who now pay no taxes and don't have to serve in the wars they start. Dick Cheney is the only one ever likely to enjoy the limited government you claim you want -- as things stand, no one governs him at all.

And? You're right, but like I said, not everyone who didn't vote for Gore voted for Bush.
