  • Salon ignoring or marginalizing Ron Paul?

    Who would have thunk it?

I gave up on thinking Salon would fairly cover Paul a long time ago. GG is worth reading and informative, but anything on Salon regarding the elections isn't worth reading. Just read the AP, you'll get the same information. The only candidates Salon cares about covering are the CFR anointed Frudy McRonmeyson and Hillary Obama Edwards.

Salon makes sure to color within party lines and get everyone thinking about all of those "important" divide and conquer wedge issues.

  • Scoop and Dump and the Ferry back

You do your anti-war readers a disservice by slighting Ron Paul in the same way the CFR-controlled press does. Hillary, Obama, et al are not good representatives of the 70% of Americans opposed to the Iraq occupation because they are CFR hand puppets.

Promoting the CFR approved candidates and ignoring the rest should be expected from Salon. Articles like this help validate that observation and it has done nothing to show me otherwise. I like GG, most of the rest is like reading tabloids.

Ron Paul gets about a sentence, that seems to be about right from people who color within the lines. Here is an account from someone who was on the ferry with Ghouls:

    http://www.lewrockwell.com/blog/lewrw/archives/015532.html

As we were all standing in line, we could hear this chorus of low level boo's start behind us. Looking around to see what was going on, we spotted the problem.

Surrounded by staff and Police, Guilliani was being whisked up the dock to get on our Ferry. What they didn't realize is that almost the whole line was Ron Paul supporters. The look on his face when he realized what was up, was priceless. Now a real Candidate, would have put on a brave face and gladhanded his way up the line trying to drum up support. Not Bonito, they closed rank around him and he all but ran up the dock, head down and refusing to even acknowledge us. They stuffed him into the cockpit with the Captain and his staff stood outside the door like they had to protect him from us. So he got to ride back hearing the whole boat chanting "Ron Paul". When we got to the mainland, they had his car pulled up, and put him out over the bow railing. Some of us managed to make it off the Ferry and get lined up so he drove off between a line of signs and chants. I am sure Rudy will not forget his trip to Mackinac for awhile. There were lots of camcorders among us, so I am sure some footage of it will hit Youtube soon.

    Here is that footage:

But according to Salon, Ron Paul and his sea of supporters is only worth a sentence. What a sham.

  • Greenspan

Greenspan, former Head of the Paper Factory. Scott Horton's interview with Charles Goyette is funnier though:

    http://www.antiwar.com/blog/2007/09/21/charles-goyette-3/

Greenspan knows exactly what he is doing, he is the head priest of the Federal Reserve Cult, the heart of the beast and the main enemy of The People in the Class War. Greenspan is scum, he blames the people and the presidents instead of blaming the real culprit, Fractional Reserve Banking and fiat money.

The only candidate that is fighting the Franken Fed is Ron Paul. He would strike at the heart of the beast by taking away its ability to devalue our currency through inflation.

Every society that ever got involved in the practice of debasing its currency has gone down. *cough*Byzantine*cough*

Ever play Monopoly? It isn't stated in the rules, but in the end the bank always wins. The bank produces and controls the money, it is in charge.

  • The Smear Machine hard at work

Looks like the Cheney/AIPAC/PNAC neocon Iran War propaganda-fest is in full swing.

Want to play a fun game? It worked pretty well this weekend, might have settled down some by now though.

Turn on the TV to Faux News, every time you hear someone say "Hitler", "Israel", "Mandman", "terrorist", "holocaust denier", or "off the map", take a drink. If they say "Vanuunu" chug moonshine nonstop until you need to go to the hospital for a stomach pump (i.e. it won't happen).

You'll be hammered before you can say "ZOMG HE IS HITLER AND WANTZ TO KILL AL TEH JOOOOOOOZ!!11!!!".

  • If Iran wants to build nukes

[Read the article: Columbia to be punished for hosting the new Hitler enemy]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

If Iran wants to build nukes, why don't they just do it in complete secrecy? Then, if one of the technicians defects, Iran can send undercover revolutionary guard troops to find the technician, con him into getting on a plane by making him think he is meeting a woman, arrest him, then try him in secret and put him in prison for 18 years for treason, 11 of them in solitary. Then, when he gets out, restrict his speech and movement and turn him into a prisoner of conscience to send a message to any other would-be "traitors" out there.

Then Iran can stockpile a couple hundred nukes in secret, and the media can mention its "secret" nuke program with a wink and a nod, because, you know, it is "secret" and therefore doesn't exist and can't be discussed by the Media. That way when Iran's enemies want a single overt first generation nuke, as opposed to Iran's hundreds of Nth generation covert nukes, Iran can blast them back to the stone age and claim that poor little defenseless Iran is protecting itself from a "nuclear threat" (which it probably has 50-100 of its own nukes targeted on).

After all, that is how "Democracies" deal with nuclear weapons proliferation.
