In response to David Blixt
[Read the article: David Shuster, scapegoat?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Amen:
On Cnn's unbearable visual noise. And on the idea of Obama weighing in.

What's the question?
[Read the article: Some free advice for Obama]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I've read quite a bit about the Rezko issue and there have been quite a few statements from Barak Obama: That buying real estate from Rezko and his wife was a "boneheaded move" but not illegal (this has been confirmed by others). That there have been donations from Rezko to Obama, and that Rezko was probably trying to garner favor, but there was no such favor granted by Obama (he later gave all the money and more to charity). In fact, he bought the land from Rezko for 3X its appraised value. That's it! As your colleague, Glenn Greenwald, so astutely points out, the name Rezko is being thrown around by the media and Clinton's people even though it has no meaning. Heck, Clinton received donations from Rezko and some of his fellow defendants in this trial, and no one's asking her about that. So, exactly what is the question you want answered, Mr. Conason? I think I missed it.

Thus proving the point
[Read the article: Clinton camp uses "monster" comment for fundraising appeal]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Obama's emails never contain this kind vitriol. And anyway, he didn't make the comment, nor did any of the spokespeople in the campaign and the woman who made it resigned within hours of the story coming out.

Thank you
[Read the article: Geraldine Ferraro still needs to apologize]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]This is a great column. All fact-based, and very satisfying to read. Thanks, Joe.

And what about Salon?
[Read the article: Journalists, McCain and the false Iran/al-Qaida link]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Why isn't this story, your story, on the front page of this rag, instead of that Walter Shapiro piece of bs punditry that I have no interest in reading. In fact, your column should just be on the front page everyday, Glenn, since you are clearly the most intelligent and principled writer on this site.
