.....is "misinform, distort, lie, and then lie again." This strategy has worked for the last six years and "the dumb shmucks" of the American Public and Congress will still swallow it up.
Glenn, thanks again for reminding us of the neo-con track record.
It defies logical analysis how this former Conservative Messiah
can so flippantly sacrifice constitutional liberties. Another right winger embracing the neoconservative agenda. What kind of power does this rabble really have?
Is it not the "right" thing to do?
Once again, one can correctly wonder when a third political party will become viable.
I am genuinely concerned that many Democrats are in the same bed as the Republicans. The American people are indeed in trouble. Peripheral issues and political correctness will no longer trump the foundations of our Constitution.
The issues that are at least partially addressed by this article can't be dismissed so easily as some would imply. If there are really so few people that agree with AIPAC and the neo-con agenda, why is it that Israel gets by with continually ignoring World pressure on the Palestinian issue?
Why do they get by with ignoring U.S. suggestions? It sure looks like Israel is preparing for a future Iranian intervention, and the U.S. does not appear to be doing anything about it. With so little support, how does Israel get away with this year after year, decade after decade?
When did it become "anti-semitism" to question foreign policy?
If such accusations are intended to scare away any objective analysis of Middle East issues, it will eventually backfire.
Glenn, thanks for presenting these issues. As more of the public examine the facts, frivilous accusations and misrepresentations will cease to hold water. I seem to hear more people asking some tough questions.
This is not the first, or last, time McCain has displayed his true character......how dare any civilian question his ability to be Commander in Chief !!!!!
There is legitimate concern that McCain is not the most stable ship in the fleet.
If it looks like a weasel,
walks like a crook,
talks like a neo-con,
....it must be a third Bush term.
Too bad. Webb would have made a good selection and balance the ticket.

There goes another couple million potential votes. I hope Obama remembers that this issue is VERY important for the undecided voters. The upcoming election is for Obama to loose. Issues such as this can make a difference.
Glenn, thanks again for an excellent article. Even if a reporter chose to comment on these issues, how long would he or she be employed in the M$M? ....and why?
Time will tell if Joe is washed up as a political influence in the U.S. I hope so.....but there may be more powerful people than we think that will see to it that he represents their special interests.
If some of these accusations can be proven, I hope they string the bastards up! How much freedom has been lost in the name of "patriotism"? The names of Perle, Feith, Wolfowitz, Rove, et al shall live forever..... in the sewer.
