Yes

Those republican christian fundamentalist will vote for anyone nut who is against obortion, gay rights.

However, it is not this issue that will bring down the Obama government. His popularity with the people will only last if there is an improvement in the economy. Economic improvement is doubtfull if Obama does not take over the banks and make them into a public utility.

Regan was a nice ignorant man Obama is a nice intelligent man

Obama understands that trickle down eonomics does not work. What it does is ruin the economy. Obama believes, and justly so, that the economy is built form the bottom up. This is what is called Common Sense Economics. However, I am under no illusions he is not God and the mess is to big to fix in one year. And unemployment will probably hit double digits. And the American people will be paying off this debt for years and years. Don't blame Obama. Blame MR.Bush.

Regan was an NICE but ignorant man

He new nothing about economics. He listened to people like Alan Greenspan. Obama is a smart man who knows what he is doing. The economy grows from the bottom up not from the top down. Obamanomics is not conservative or revolutionary-IT IS COMMON SENSE ECON0MICS.

Short and Sweet

When an economy has got to much money at the top and to little at the bottom that economy is in trouble. It and requires income redistribution. This is the American economy today.

Original article: The case against thrift

There is a solution to Greed

It is the rule of Law. If bankers act irresponsibly with others people's money, they should go to jail. The big bankers where negligent in their responsibilities to their depositors so they should be in jail.

Obama budget is good

The only thing I would have done differently is to extend the unemployment bnefits more then five weeks to help Americans cope with long term unemployment. In addition, I would have cut the defense budget a little bit more. As far as taxing the rich only 2% on 250,000 is a little low somewhere in the neighborhood of 5% would probably generate enough income to pay for a great health care system. And the super-rich like Bill Gates and Warren Buffet ect.. they should pay somewhere around 10% income tax. Obama is right America does need a little bit of wealth reditribution. When all the money is at the top there is little money at the bottom how can any economy function properly...this will probably make the rich angry but I personally do not care. I personally give Obama an A for his budget. Good Going Barac!!!

Lets get real

The whole idea behind Allen Greenspan's loose money policy that created another bubble that led to this crash was to lower the standard of living for the middle class. Does anybody really think that Greenspan and his Wall street friends are that stupid...of course not. They wanted another big cheap labour pool. It all started when wages remained stagnent and prices kept going up causing Americans to borrow more and abuse their credit cards. These Republicans are not stupid they know what they are doing. The Americans got screwed by Alan Greenspan and his Wall Street friends. He deserves to be behind bars. And further recessions are for the working class I don't think those bankers are suffering....expecially when they have got billions in Tax Havens arounds the world.

Where is Alan Greenspan

He created the bubble economy and he should be put behind bars for his negligent behavior.

It does not have to be...

The point of no return. It is up to the people of America to put pressure on their president and representatives to do the right thing. Furthermore, when I say pressure I do mean PRESSURE.
