Glenn Greenwald always satirizes the opinionated and self-righteous. He does it well and never, ever steps out of character. He is an accomplished satirist.

You will find that many at UT would love to imitate Glenn but they almost often fail miserably. The reason is that they do not stay in character. Too many readers who are infrequent readers will think Glenn's regular commenters are all too serious and miss the intent.

It would be best for Glenn's message and work if we had a lot more of this satire attempt but, UT is what it is. It is a reflection of the person who controls it and hence you like it or you go elsewhere.

After reading the above over again in preview, I hope you, kovie, take this as an attack. I hope you see that "satire" is a failure if an idiot needs be told it is satire. One does not have to be told that Heru is an excellent satirst.
