the mighty scary propaganda -

"Half of Americans now think that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction = seven in 10 Americans might continue to believe that Iraq's Saddam Hussein had a role in the attacks" "49 percent of Americans think the president has the authority to suspend the Constitution..

BUT - the great and wonderful thing about these Americans is that they hate Bush and Cheney anyway –

Glenn - please - You have to stop connecting the wrong dots – If wise people tell you propaganda doesn’t work in a democracy they might not talk about the little bitty details – They might talk about the BIG PICTURE - and I know it is confusing –and I also know this lawyer in Las Vegas (one of the Republican kind) who he is constantly scratching his head because propaganda works- propaganda works - and he just can’t understand why nobody loves him anymore.

And I had to tell him our 'system' might be too confusing for a lawyer - there are all these “things” floating around a lawyer can not control - like emotions of my daughter and her friends for example – (thanks god they are sleeping) - and please gals and guys don’t confuse the young ones with stupidity – I always have to repair the damage afterwards.

And don’t worry so much – The big B might be a lawyer too -but he has it under control – He gets the BIG PICTURE – and a lot of the Americans too – They have carried the big B already beyond any polling ability and somehow they must have learned their lesson -

even if some polls and numbers suggest the opposite –

And I know how hard it is to break that polling addiction – I once was a polling junkie too and we still make a lot of money with it – but you might have to check yourself into rehab, Glenn - and you will come out refreshed with all new ideas about the unpredictability of propaganda in a democracy.

Original article: New heights of stupidity

why not call a pig a pig?

-isn't it great, that Obama finally took all this 'good' advice to hit back and call THEM out?!

He didn't?….and that actually wasn't 'the advice' at all?…

I am confused?!

I know it 'he didn't do it' - aIt was again THEM lying - like always' - but we finally could solve this question about the High Road'? Let's pretend he really called them pigs - and let's see if it backfires…

No?

Not a good idea?!

But why not?

Oh!... You think we should not use the 'p' word…

What's about the 'Dirty Fascists' or the 'A…holes' or the 'Repugs' or the 'dirty f… liers' words?

No?!

- Also not the right words for the Obama campaign... they might be counterproductive?! Really - and we just should call them out on their lies! - That's great! - I really like that and

I always knew you were a good guy too, Glenn!

i think its about time -

to discriminate against old white dudes - i am a young and very white looking girl with the

refined and wise soul of an old native American Indian and i am very ashamed of the rotten souls of the old white dudes - and i am excluding my grandfather because - he even as Republican would have sat down with this ladies and would have told them: I am so ashamed of the old white dudes because i have found out, that they are responsible for 90% all the political sh... in this country - and that's why i think it is time to make place for better human beings (and i am not talking about the young white lady from Alaska - with the soul of an old white dude) No - i am talking about the "real' Americans - the 'mixed' ones, who are as diverse

as this country - and then he would have gotten out his Obama poster and would have chanted: Yes we can!

art -

'To the clean are all things clean' — thus say the people. I, however, say unto you: To the swine all things become swinish! Therefore preach the visionaries and bowed-heads (whose hearts are also bowed down): 'The world itself is a filthy monster.' For these are all unclean spirits; especially those, however, who have no peace or rest, unless they see the world FROM THE BACKSIDE — the backworldsmen! TO THOSE do I say it to the face, although it sound unpleasantly: the world resembleth man, in that it hath a backside, — SO MUCH is true! There is in the world much filth: SO MUCH is true! But the world itself is not therefore a filthy monster!

– Friedrich Nietzsche, Thus Spoke Zarathustra

where is the debate over the Bush Doctrine?

could somebody help me because i even know some 3 grader who got it right away that the lady with the weird hairdo didn't know what this Gibson dude was talking about and does Glenn really think Bush would be able to answer what the Bush Doctrine really is? -

Perhaps it would be helpful if you wouldn't call it the Bush Doctrine anymore - then you wouldn't have to spent so much time discussing what it is. (I know you like that) but why not calling it it what some wise guys suggested - the 'we do whatever we feel like doing and whatever we want to call it doctrine- that would be so much more precise and i finally would understand where this debate is and what it is all about.
