[Read the article: Why Jeremiah Wright is so wrong]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]also profoundly depressed by Joans post. I found myself thinking this post might be either too short, or too long,
for Joan to win back the Salonistas. It's too long because already, for some people, the thrill is gone, the honeymoon
is over, even Joans's fans are starting to ask tough questions. It's too short because the "conversation about Joan" we all keep promising to have has barely begun, and it would take longer than November to hash out how much
Joan's role in Salon should mean to her. But Joans post had
to be troubling to anyone who cares about race relations, American politics or the campaign. Now there are new and longer excerpts from Joan's other postings, and Joan will also post again monday morning. Clearly the Joan story isn't going away. My goal in this post is to try not to treat Joan the way Joan seems to treat the idea of America; to not utterly damn Joan because some of (a lot of? I'm not sure) what Joan has said is disturbing and wrong. I am grateful to Joan for posting so much. I enjoyed her thoughtful conversation with herself. But the whole idea that Joan has been attacked over "soundbites," and if we saw her entire posts, in context, we'd feel differently, now seems ludicrous. The long posts Joan posts only confirm what was in her snippets (and the longer excerpts out today are even more troubling) and it could be especially deadly for Joan but that's not why I am posting - I profoundly would like to get in contact with AJCalhoun and Tom Payne and if you read this -
please contact: "schwarzfilmdo@aol.com.

WT -
[Read the article: Karl Rove: Honest political genius]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]- they are asking much too much from the "hero" - because he just has entered the beginning og the second act (sorry - but we always knew this would turn into a fascinating "film") -
or perhaps a "greeklike" drama with a great stereotypical dilemma -
Will the hero solve it?-
Could there be a happy end? - and we are still trying not to "post" just as you have entered the arena - did you see the invitation - do you like to get in touch? schwarzfilmdo@aol.com.

everybody relax -
[Read the article: Obama "outraged" by Wright]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]we just found out that all the letters on this "issue" have been written by just 3 (in words - "three" writers)
1.Joan Walsh
2.Glenn Greenwald (all of the reasonable ones)-
and for the "creation" of the really crazy ones - like
cy or wes Joan uses her inner "Groucho Marx" (you know "the one" who wouldn't want to join the club which would accept him) - but anywhoo - AJCalhoun we know that you are the only writer who posts under his real name and if you are out there
we would like to get in touch with you - if you are interested - schwarzfilmdo@aol.com.

shame on us -

2.Glenn Greenwald (all the reasonable ones)- and for the creation of the crazy ones - Joan used her inner "Groucho Marx" (you know the one who wouldn't want to join a club, which would accept him) - and now we are put to shame- shame

hi gals and guys -
[Read the article: Clinton endorses Obama]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]i`m back - now that Hillary finally has been a good girl and Joan too - my mom told me i’m allowed to post again (sorry dad) but you see i´m part of a family, where the woman always rule the roost (I love this expression) and my mom never had to castrate calves to feel strong and we all had to smile about the funny gender posts and especially AKA is a riot – she is so much like my grandma- who made my grandpa vote Republican, because she once had a drink with Ronny (Reagan) in the Bar of the LA Country Club and he was very charming and you all should be patient with these ‘Joans’ and ‘Smithies’ because they are still thinking that they have to buy the washer and the dryer for the family (as AKA had confessed in one of her last posts) - and even my grandma is way beyond that and she feels sorry for the ‘domestic engineers’ thinkers and she told me we should give them all our sympathy and even once in while a whole threat to write about their pain and perhaps Joan could dedicate these threats
sometimes to them - like changing the title into "AKA won't endorse Obama" but we also should not overdo the funny letters because there should be enough space for original ones - like "Virtue" he is a really serious poetry dude and he should post much more often and i'm so happy about Obama and i finally could tell all my foreign friends "America is the greatest and they are really starting to believe it - and wait whats happening in Italy, Germany and France and in the whole world if he finally gets elected in November - because -yes we can!!
