thanks for no thanks Joan -

i bet with my daughter a whole cherrycake, that we will have the only "fairytale" on Salon today.

Wednesday, March 26, 2008 11:53 AM

and after what we discussed on another thread today-

is there still anybody there who takes you seriously?

Wednesday, March 26, 2008 12:16 PM

what can and cannot be spoken on Salon -

- it is tremendously "commendable" of Glenn to write one post after the other about "war" and "race", while Joan on her blog get's "fire" from all sides, because she seriously is still suggesting: "the long primary battle helps Democrats".

Perhaps some musing about "how long it takes until McCain is at 70 percent approval or about the only subject everybody will be interest in November - the economy would be a good idea?

we try it again -

- It is most honorable, to expose "what can and what cannot be spoken on the TV and to combine all the topics of the last days we just wanted to say - Don't trust us we are "Trolls" and "Idiots" but there was this very serious and clever commenter on the NY Times who wrote the following (after a little bit of editing) - "McCain is an ironist wooing a group of individuals who regard ironic detachment more highly than sincerity or seriousness. he reveals the absurdity of the political process as a big game. He also reveals his own gleeful cynicism about it. This sort of disdain might be called a liberal view, if not politically then culturally.

The notion that our system (in fact, life itself) is faintly imbecilic is a staple of "The Daily Show," "The Colbert Report," "Real Time With Bill Maher" and other liberal exemplars, though they, of course, implicate the press in the idiocy. McCain's sense of irony makes him their spiritual kin -a cosmological liberal - which may be why conservatives distrust him and liberals like Jon Stewart seem to revere him. They are reacting to something deeper than politics. They are reacting to his vision of how the world operates and to his attitude about it.

Like it or not - THAT's why the dude is so dangerous and HAS to be stopped - HE MAKES THE AVERAGE AMERICAN IGNORE EVERYTHING YOU WROTE ABOUT ON THIS THREAD! And the author of the NY Times even had the nerve to suggest McCain could be called the first postmodernist presidential candidate.

We just pray every day, that he will not be the first postmodernist President because the Democrats had too serious of a debate.

Hey LVM and WT we are on your side! Okay!

Friday, March 28, 2008 04:30 AM

hey proxy -

- why don't you leave that "wellguy" alone - He knows zip

about "Heavy Metal" - We are so excited. We never dreamt we would find a "headbanger" on this blog. Don't you love "Judas Priest" they are so cool?

Friday, March 28, 2008 04:45 AM

Thats cool -

Whats about "thrash metall" it's not in the mainstream yet but we could work on it - together!

Friday, March 28, 2008 04:56 AM

Friday, March 28, 2008 05:30 AM

and the word-

cakewalk is a crime.

Friday, March 28, 2008 06:55 AM

all of this -

will only sink into peoples mind if the Irak war "stays in the headlines".

Friday, March 28, 2008 09:46 AM

rupert - sir -

please!! We don't appreciate what you had say about our democratic candidates - but as a good American we absolutely

object to you attack on a "war hero" and Mr. McCain (you should use his Christian name) is without any doubt a "war hero"! If you would have criticized his knowledge of geography or anthropology we would be right with you - because we have

some Swiss relatives and they are really afraid he might mix them up with Shias or with Sunnis!

Friday, March 28, 2008 10:07 AM

but -

there's still the question: How to stop a war hero -

You have to find ten ways to stop a war hero!

Friday, March 28, 2008 10:32 AM

is there still a difference -

between "right-wing material" and "left-wing material"?

Just asking?

Friday, March 28, 2008 02:45 PM

kind of dissapointed that you "bolded" just by accident - thought your post was a great example for all the crazy

things going on in here! Just keep on posting all you gals and guys (for Obama or for Hillary) are true artists!
