talk was not cheap in 2002 -

and for sure not talk against the war - you should have tried it - than you would know!

Saturday, March 1, 2008 04:08 PM

come on maureen -

you have a big heart - give the man his due! Nobody asks you to call him a "visionary" - What's about just calling him a man "with a good and thoughtful head on his shoulder"?

And please don't go over the cliff again - just try to focus!

Original article: Hillary at twilight

doc -

it's the "wonder of emotions" - and it might work like that:

You have two candidates who seem to be in their policies

quite similar - and you have good "reasons" to believe that- and "BANG" "BOOM" I actually like Obama better!

dolores let's forgive him -

he's from the "seemly" and the "unseemly" police and they

are a little "whacky" says my daughter!

what is going on here -

can somebody explain it to me - starting with the first

entry of this thread?

Sunday, March 2, 2008 09:16 AM

we -

agree!

Monday, March 3, 2008 10:11 AM

we are-

very positive thinking people and hope that all of this will backfire in the way if finally did after the last seven years. We live half of the year in America and the other half in Europe and it sometimes feels like moving from the jungle

to the zoo and back. And as we have no preference for the zoo -we think - people like Kurtz or for example Hagee play a very important role in life. With their example you very easily can teach others what's "wrong" or what's "right". We are also not very "religious" in the common sense and I think a catholic friend of us, who has this theory, that Bush was send to Washington by Satan in order to "test" America is slightly exaggerating - But on the other side - if the "little devils" become too much of a nuisance again - we suggest a video

"serie" on Salon and on "You Tube" called: SATAN ASKS!!!

It always should start with some kind of drums and dramatic music and some deep voice who says: SATAN ASKS! - Is Obama patriotic enough? (etc.etc.) and suddenly there will be this friendly face of an "everyday" American and he will smile and say something wise like... like William Timberman for example or even like Shooter - He also could try to say something nice about Obama - like: are you f... mad - and we all would have a good laugh and Obama would beat McCain in a landslide and invite my daughter - who had this idea - and me and Timberman and Shooter to his inaugeration and we would all live happily ever after...

Monday, March 3, 2008 10:35 AM

william -

you wouldn't sacrifice for Obama? We could shoot the video in

Amalfi or in Ravello if you like!

Monday, March 3, 2008 10:51 AM

shooter shy?

we don't believe it - Shooter where are you?? We know a great restaurant in Ravello and we will take the check!

Monday, March 3, 2008 01:21 PM

in 200 years-

nonsense like the Kurtzstuff will be laughed of the pages of the Washington Post if the Post is still existing or America is still existing - so please be patient!

Monday, March 3, 2008 01:32 PM

and factcheck -

is a very good examples to explain to somebody the difference between "good" and "evil".

Monday, March 3, 2008 01:40 PM

persia -

sent the e-mails of your crazy aunt to factcheck she is going to publish them!

Tuesday, March 4, 2008 12:26 PM

didn't you hear the voice of liberty??

Jello!!!

There was the "sane" voice of "liberty" on this thread - Didn't you read what he had to say?!

What are you trying to accomplish here?

Every single point you are discussing has been discussed in the last days - without a single result!

I understand you love to argue - but if you don't turn this

around pretty soon in some kind of "constructive" way will

turn into these children who are getting on everybodys nerves

- as another Salonista already suggested!

Tuesday, March 4, 2008 12:39 PM

sobe and dawg -

Tuesday, March 4, 2008 12:53 PM

thank you editor -

for clearing out the worst of the worst!

Tuesday, March 4, 2008 12:56 PM

Tuesday, March 4, 2008 01:17 PM

Tuesday, March 4, 2008 01:25 PM

and filthyharry -

there is a group called "cynics anonymous" they helped me quite a lot!

Tuesday, March 4, 2008 01:58 PM

dawgonne -

she probably was as much responsible for Dubya as you are - for scaring the living daylights out of everybody who ever thought about voting for Hillary Clinton.

Tuesday, March 4, 2008 02:53 PM

filthy harry -

if you either -

A. A person who believes all people (politicians) are motivated by selfishness.

- or -

B. A person whose outlook is scornfully and often habitually negative.

- or -

C. A member of a sect of ancient Greek philosophers who believed virtue to be the only good and self-control to be the only means of achieving virtue.

- the world might call you a cynic.
