  • The best guy to have a beer with

[Read the article: Romney and Huckabee's religious intolerance ]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

When I found salon I thought I found heaven -

but this "religion thing" got much too serious.

Give the "dudes" a break - perhaps they only used the words "religion" or "god" as the waiter in our favorite Utah restaurant. His "religion" is "the true American religion" - Money - and god is there to provide.

What Romney probably meant to say was - FREEDOM REQUIRES MONEY - and Huckabee has to agree.

As someone who drives every few weeks from Las Vegas to Springdale I also believe that Romneys Mormonic Disneyland only exist to counterbalance the "most godless city" on this planet. Lets not confuse ourselves like stupid pundits on TV or in the MSP who think "religion" plays an important role in presidential elections - Didn't you know that "Bill" would have beaten "W", Kerry or Gore by ten to fifteen points.

The American electorate "religiously" elects only the "best guy to have a beer with". So let's worry about the real issues!

  • are you still throwing quotes at each other

Are you still throwing quotes at each other?

I'm twelve years old - typing for my dad - he just stepped in the room asking: ARE THEY STILL THROWING QUOTES AT EACH OTHER?!

He told me to stay away from quotes because somewhere somebody always will find a contradiction as most of the people most of the times don't know what they are talking about.

  • what could CP be?

[Read the article: Dogma days ]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

the first letters were really fun to read but then it turned into the same old squabble.

Why do some of you guys still feel the need to divide the world in left and right? Don't you know it is getting much to complicated for that? CP is living proof of all the "left- or right -wingers" who are so confused that they don't understand their own dogma anymore.

To be against Bush is "left" - Right?

To deny Global Warming is - "right" or could it be --- wrong?

Perhaps just a case of being sadly misinformed?

    - And as CP had to mention Andy Warhol - My dad met him ones and he told him "he was no artist"! So it makes no sense to call CP "anything"!

  • why I love Camille

[Read the article: Dogma days ]

oh how I love this endless distraction bumbling and fumbling with the inability to finesse her marginalization swamped by sharp skirmishes the reflexive lashing out mameless, faceless as time grows shortbreathtakingly presumptuous demonstrating her idealistic, bouncily upbeat character dogged by tacky questions, like a shadowy, hard-bitten wheeler and dealer,a ruthless pursuer of power for her own sake.

True she has a million positions on any question, but who's counting?

Tactically necessary conceptually developed the rejection of an official, government-sanctioned creed rather than the obligatory erasure of references acknowledging the impoverished culture of a rotting corpse declined into trivialities and narcissistic exercises in self-esteem.

Once emotionally vibrant and collective in impact waned into flashy, transient niche entertainment. No master of ever-evolving personal technology, besieged by the siren call of materialism. A social problem that needs suppression or eradication. among the status-addled professionals the conservative prelude, in other words, a gust of déjà vu struggling to retreated into a bubble where the beautiful artifices of the past float like a mirage evidently in the artist's soaring affirmation or angry resistance. The unctuous piety of smarmy rote asserting family values and opposing moral relativism like a prophetic voice crying in the wilderness electrified by the relaxed, genial self-pitying feminazi irony in her smugly caustic reference to the onerous "impediments" of crackpot right-wing hallucination that misty look of submissive adoration on the road to blondness into every nook and cranny of credulous minds like messages from an angry god in his gloomy underworld with an adolescent bravado- a mensch? -- Eyes cross at its dreary, archaic verbosity in an airless cultural void. with thunderous, drilling, midpoint congas the obsessive focus on hard partying and status display?

Let's end with a bang with all the dumbed down, crystal methed fucked up shrunken world with people wandering around in some prescription stupor -

Oh I've got to slow down before i freak out!

Did any of you lately talk to a young person?

"Change" is the word and out with the old and ugly politics.

And poor Mr. Canoson - all these words useless spent for the past.

    Hillary is the past -

Edwards is the past (great Politicians)and "change" will in the next year even surprise the ones who never could have

thought that this great country could redeem itself by electing a "black President"!
