Original article: Obama "outraged" by Wright

I have far more respect for Rev. Wright than Obama

Rev. Wright clearly believes what he says. He may be wrong, he may be crazy, but he has integrity.

Obama, on the other hand, will say whatever he needs to say to win. The same thing he falsely accuses Hillary of.

It's called "projection."

Original article: Obama "outraged" by Wright

Obama made this election focus on judgment and personality

Hillary would rather talk policy.

His mistake, but he doesn't have experience or policy to offer. Now his judgment is discredited, and his personality isn't looking so nice.

Thursday, May 8, 2008 08:58 PM

Just say no to the kool-aid

You were a good journalist before you went in the tank for Obama.

Friday, May 9, 2008 09:20 PM

Nobody in their right mind thought Hillary would win NC

and she was behind in Indiana until a month ago.

Even Obama called Indy the "tiebreaker"

She won, he lost.

Spin all you want Joan, but them's the facts.

Monday, May 12, 2008 12:52 AM

Keep bashing Hillary and her supporters

Help elect John McCain.

Tuesday, May 13, 2008 11:31 PM
Original article: She's still in it to win it

Can you guys get a new script?

You've been pronouncing Hillary's campaign dead since Iowa.

Why don't you try reporting the news instead of trying to make the news you want come true?

You're an embarrassment to your "profession."

Thursday, May 22, 2008 01:41 AM
Original article: She's in it to spin it

She's Zombie Terminator Hillary

She can't be stopped.

BTW - Walter Shapiro was a pretty good journalist before he turned into a shill for Obama.

"Just say NO to kool-aid"

Sunday, June 1, 2008 04:46 PM

As of yesterday, the primaries in FL/MI are no longer disputed.

They are official and the votes count.

Tuesday, June 3, 2008 11:26 AM

The presumptious nominee hasn't won yet.

But congratulations Alex on falling for his campaign's effort to push Hillary's win tonight off the news.

How does it feel to be a tool?

Tuesday, June 3, 2008 11:34 AM

The nominee will be decided in August at the convention in Denver.

No sooner.

Tuesday, June 3, 2008 11:53 AM

Alkaline: Hillary should take a well-earned vacation

About one month out of the spotlight should do it.

The media will tear Obama to shreds by the time she returns for the August convention.

The clothes have no emperor.

Tuesday, June 3, 2008 12:01 PM

@Henry Hotspur Obama falsely accused the Clintons of racism

That was a dirty low-blow that disqualifies him from being the nominee.

Also, it was his campaign that pushed the RFK wankfest.

Hillary had nothing to do with the Muslim rumors and has consistently said they were not true. That was a freeper rumor, and the only ones who still talk about it are Obama supporters trying to falsely blame Hillary, like yourself.

Tuesday, June 3, 2008 12:06 PM

@ Patrick Morgan

What you call "beating him in the legs with an aluminum baseball bat," the rest of us call Hillary winning primaries by huge margins.

Huge margins.

A total repudiation of the "presumptive" nominee.

Tuesday, June 3, 2008 05:23 PM

Nothing is "official" until August.

That's when the superdelegates vote.

As Dennis Cardoza demonstrated, they can switch anytime they want to until then.

Are there any journalistic ethics about telling the truth?

Tuesday, June 3, 2008 08:32 PM
Original article: Clinton wins!

She got more votes than Obama

That makes her the winner.

The media want Obama, the voters want Hillary.

Tuesday, June 3, 2008 08:43 PM
Original article: Clinton wins!

@Farnsworth: She got the most votes ever.

On to Denver!

Wednesday, June 4, 2008 12:44 AM
Original article: Barack Obama's epic win

Obama is the presumptuous nominee

He hasn't clinched anything yet.

The nominee will be selected in August at the convention in Denver. No sooner.

Maybe by then our media will stop being campaign hacks for Obama and start being real journalists again.

Monday, June 23, 2008 04:03 AM

Don't worry about my vote Wally

That would be a waste of your hack-tacular time, because I'm not voting for Obama.

Yes I am a Clinton supporter

Yes I am a Democrat

No, I am not an old woman

No, I am not going to "get over it."

But keep telling everyone that I and my fellow PUMA's will eventually vote for Obama. That will make the surprise in November all the more sweet.

Monday, June 23, 2008 04:10 AM

Gee Rebecca, didn't you do any research before writing this crap?

Who gave you these talking points? Axelrod? The ghost of Tim Russert? Your "magic 8-ball?"

You are totally and completely clueless.

Monday, June 23, 2008 08:46 AM

@werenotgonnatakeit

There is nothing wrong with "us" people.

The problem is with the presumptuous nominee - he is completely unqualified.

We are not angry or grieving. We are determined to keep Obama from winning.

If the Democratic party wants our loyalty and our votes, they need to nominate someone who is qualified. Hillary is the best qualified, but there others who we would support.

Not Obama, not now, not ever.

Tuesday, June 24, 2008 03:07 AM

The Official Seal of Barack Opossum is gone.

But it will live on in our memories.

Don't forget, Mike Dukakis only took one ride in a tank.

Tuesday, June 24, 2008 03:11 AM

If calling Barack Opossum an arrogant elitist is racist

Then all criticism of hillary is sexist.

Fair is fair.

Wednesday, June 25, 2008 01:03 AM

Barack does lots of talking

He needs to learn to listen.

Thursday, June 26, 2008 03:48 AM
Original article: This Modern World

Was it racist when Michelle called Barack her "babies' daddy?"

BTW - "Baby mama" refers to the mother of a man's child.

Marital status isn't part of the definition.

Wednesday, July 2, 2008 01:34 AM
Original article: Could be Biden time

A plagiarism double bill?

The problem for Obama is finding someone qualified for the job who isn't more qualified than he is.

Of course finding someone less qualified than Obama is impossible.

Monday, July 14, 2008 05:56 PM

Keep up the dishonest hackery Alex!

Don't let democratic principles get in your way.

What flavor is the kool-aid this week?

Friday, July 25, 2008 02:04 PM

Only a moron would believe anything Rove said

but only a moron would think Obama was qualified to be President.

Congratulations Alex.

Friday, August 1, 2008 02:51 AM

Obama IS arrogant and presumptuous.

He reeks of it, and it has nothing to do with the color of his skin. Just because Republicans say it doesn't mean it's not true. Why should they lie when the truth works better?

The "reality-based community" has truly jumped the shark.

Hey Glenn, here's an idea: For you next column why don't you discuss how the meme that "presumptuous" = "uppity" is mindlessly repeated on progressive blogs?

Saturday, August 2, 2008 06:15 AM

He can't go after Obama on the issues

because Obama keeps changing his positions.

He could call Obama a flip-flopper but you call that a smear, and probably say it was racist too.

Obama made this campaign all about how wonderful he is, so it's only fair that McCain gets to offer a rebuttal.

Thursday, August 14, 2008 07:00 AM
Original article: Johnny, I hardly knew ye

Your primary coverage shows you still don't know sh*t

You have run biased coverage (pro-Obama, anti-Clinton) all year, based on what you think you know.

Why don't you become a sportswriter or a movie critic, maybe you'll have better luck?

Thursday, August 14, 2008 06:42 PM

The HillaryHate never stops, does it?

What will you guys do when the Clintons are finally gone?

Thursday, August 14, 2008 06:46 PM

The Democratic leadership prefers nominating empty suits

Presumptuous empty suits.

Tuesday, August 19, 2008 01:58 AM
Original article: Sandbagged at Saddleback

McCain is not to blame for Uh-bama's answers

The questions were softballs, and should have been hit out of the park.

Hillary faced down truly hostile interviewers (O'Reilly, Scaife, Obamamann) and came away the winner.

This year was supposed to be a sure thing, but Obama is turning "win" into "whine"

(Sigh)

Friday, August 22, 2008 07:18 AM

Oh yes! Let's throw away any remaining shreds of credibilty, ethics and principles

that may have survived the primaries.

Let's make sure there really isn't any difference between the parties.

If you can't beat 'em, join 'em!

Sunday, August 24, 2008 05:05 PM

Obama's name WAS on the ballot in Michigan

until it was removed at his own request.

But even though he didn't win a single vote, he got a bunch of delegates, including 4 that were won by Hillary.

Sunday, August 24, 2008 07:11 PM

Sounds like you "knew" jack sh*t.

Both states held official, state-run elections. In Florida there was a ballot proposition being voted on too.

Too bad you fell for Obama propaganda.

As Molly Ivins said, "If you don't vote, you don't get to bitch."
