Roger Clemens Soap Opera

Jeeze,a member of the working media putting a story of this kind in proper perspective?! Do really mean that this is none of our business?! Too bad you could not stop the Monica Lewinsky scandal as well or the waste of time and ink on Rev.Wright.

Grow up America

John Edward's extra-marital relationship is none of my concern and has no impact on my life or the well being of this country. I was sorry to hear of it. There was a time, not all that long ago, when this type of reporting was the exclusive purview of the truly tasteless tabloids. There was a time when common decency would have forbidden the publishing of this kind of "news". The publishers of this kind of story don't care about the hurt they cause to families. I can't help but think that the publishing of the was done for the basest of motives. The rest of the world must be laughing at us. When will we lose our juvenile attitudes towards matters sexual and show some respect for the personal privacy of all of us.

A Pit Bull For VP

As clever a pack of lies as could be created by the most accomplished liars on the face of the earth. One slip up though when she repeated the tired old line about Obama's ability to communicate through speeches but lacking in substance. Her speech writers evidently missed that part of Obama's speech where he spelled out the salient points of his program.

Just what the country and the world needs: a bellicose old man and a pit bull.

Grateful To All Who Voted For Barack Obama - Relying On His Judgement

We did ourselves proud by not being fooled again and voting for the most outstanding candidate we had a chance to vote for since JFK. Barack Obama has shown exceptional judgement from the start so I am not concerned with his decision to keep Mr. Gates. Besides, if Mr. Gates does no work out he can be replaced.

Can We Get Back To Upholding The Constitution

The days of the 'Unitary Presidency' are over - for now. So why can't we get back to the presumption of innocence until proven guilty. And while we are at can we stop prosecutors from releasing evidence to the media prior to trial. What we have now is trial by media. Trial by media seems unconstitutional to me.

I don't know if 'Blago' is guilty until the trial is over and I don't care. What I do care about is the return of rule of law.

Back to the Middle Ages!! All aboard!

This is a religious belief and as such it is unconstitutional to establish this belief in law. Didn't we get rid of this kind of thing when "no funds for poor sick children" left office.

You Can't Have Everything? Jettison Bipartisanship. Save Lives.

I am retired and have Medicare with Medigap private insurance - in other words a mix of public and private coverage. It works well for my wife and myself. So what is the problem with the Republicans? It can only be that the bloodsucking private insurance companies, hospital conglomerates and big pharma wil have to find an honest way to do business for a change.

In my opinion, any Senator or Representative who votes against this should be removed from office immediately in public disgrace. This is not a question of party politics but a question of whom are these people representing the people that elected them or their rich contributors. Actually I'd like to see them tried for treason because if this does not pass Americans will die for lack of care.

Bipartisanship out the window. Ram it through. Lives are at stake!

American Taliban Alive and Still Doing Damage to this Country

Typical Republican modus operandi. Gang up on poor people on fundamentalist religious grounds. I thought we voted these vampires out.

More Blatant Lies From RNC

"This would be laughable if it weren't so shameless, so irresponsible and so dirty."

WTF It worked before and gave us eight years of W. Hell, these people don't even have the decency to sit down, shut up and get out of the way. Even after wrecking the economies of so many countries with their deregulation of the greedheads of

Wall St.

Shameless, irresponsible and dirty is a fair and accurate description!
