I loved your take on all this. We've gotten hooked on Intervention (no models or dancers or cooks, just middle Americans with addiction problems). I'm curious as to your thoughts on that.
This sounds terrific for somebody -- like me -- that usually can't get into graphic novels.
Speaking of novels and cats, check out The World is Your Litter Box, which just came out. The link its site to my signature.
I, too, have received many emails like these, and not just about Obama, from friends and family. And my efforts to get them to source Snopes.com has only lead them to take me off of their email lists.
I think these tactics are unfortunately very effective -- and I think Democrats, Progressives, or whatever we're calling ourselves these days, need to be militant in fighting back.
Let's put aside the Bristol issue for a minute. And let's forget Palin's record as governor. And I'm not saying that you can't have five kids and a job, too. Let's talk about baby Trig. I can't wait to watch this show! As a So. Cal. Realtor, I'm tired of sellers expecting me to bring them full-price offers when a) they can't even flush a toilet; b) I need to buy a hazard insurance policy just to walk into the house; c) they're $50k overpriced to begin with; and c) their dog ate my buyer. I've blogged extensively about this at Http://sfvrealestate.blogspot.com.
