That model H&K will not discharge unless someone pulls the trigger. Men like to play with their guns. The ultimate safety on a semi automatic handgun is to leave the chamber empty until needed. The cockpit voice recordings and the co-pilot's statements might be helpful if they are ever released.

We sold our SUVs and bought Pintos and Chevettes and used public transportation. We upgraded our storm windows and insulation and installed active and passive solar power. We turned down our thermostats and wore sweaters. The '74 embargo was politically motivated and easily resolved. The current crisis is a result of supply and demand and will not easily be resolved. China and India are not the only new consumers of oil. Last one out turn off the lights.

This buffer for Israel will make most of New York and South Florida voters happy. The U.S. of A. also wants sufficient oil to justify this trillion dollar war. The quid is withdrawal of most American combat troops (The coalition of one). A solution to an oil jones?
