There's plenty of good material
[Read the article: McCain "glad" to have radical preacher's support]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]out there on Hagee. I envision some sort of 527 commercial that begins with recordings of all of Hagee's anti-catholic and anti-human remarks ending with at clip of McCain saying "I'm glad to have his endorsement."

Operation Chaos
[Read the article: Will Obama shift his focus to McCain?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]is nothing more than a lot of hot air released by America's greatest blowhard. The notion that Limbaugh's minions are influencing this race is simply wrong. Limbaugh is nothing more than a distraction and a waste of time and energy. When you attribute this sort of influence to Limbaugh you are playing right into his hand.

Instead of wasting enregy and bandwidth on this moron, use it to point out that McCain is lying when he says that 401(k)'s and IRA's are subject to Capital Gains tax. I say this as an Obama supporter.

Chaos
[Read the article: Will Obama shift his focus to McCain?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]"So you believe that all those Republicans who voted Bush into office ACTUALLY intend to vote for Hillary in the General Election???"
I would be more inclined to "believe" this phenomena when someome can present some reliable statistics as to how many Repubs actually voted for Hillary in the primary. Exit polling indicates otherwise.

@meffert
[Read the article: Will Obama shift his focus to McCain?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Yes and I know at least a dozen Republicans and none of them would ever take marching orders from Limbaugh. Sure, there are hundreds, maybe even thousands, who participated in Chaos but not enough to make a significant statistical difference.
Again, Limbaugh's primary agenda is to get Dems to turn on each other.

And his promise to balance the budget
[Read the article: Comparing McCain to an "Internet stock circa 1999"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]- Does this include the "Emergency Spending" costs for the war on Iraq?
- If elected POTUS will you continue to request war funds as "emegency" requests thereby keeping them "off the books?". If so, what is your justification?
- What is your plan to begin accounting for war defecits as part of the national debt? What is your justification?
- Will you try to expand Capital Gains taxes to cover IRA's and 401(k)'s?
All so much more interesting than flag pins and snipers.

Simple
[Read the article: Campaign roundup]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]If you repeat the same lie enough times people will believe it. Classic politics.

@DanielGrie
[Read the article: Krugman asks "what's gone wrong" with Obama campaign]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]"Its amazing how when Paul Krugman called out Governor Bush for the endless errors, distortions and lies in his campaign claims the leftwing media could not cheer him on enough. Now the Obama sycophants in the press can't stand that Krugman has focused his trained eye on their hero."
Actually Krugman lost his credibility back in 2002-2003 with his starry-eyed endorsement of the Iraq War.

Interesting facts about Rev. Wright:
[Read the article: Obama, Wright in new local Republican ad]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]1961 - Volunteered for US Marines. (gave up student deferrment at Virginia Union University).
1963 - Graduated Valedictorian from Corpsman school at Great Lakes Naval Training Center.
1965 - Graduated Salutarian as a cardiopulmonary technician from National Naval Medical Center.
1966 - Assigned as part of the medical team charged with care of President Lyndon B. Johnson following his surgery.
1967 - White House awarded Wright three letters of commendation.
...just something to think about while you're listening to the pundits and dittoheads.

@melthough
[Read the article: Obama camp files complaint against pro-Clinton 527]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]"I thought they were a 527 as well, and they are actively campaigning for Obama. I am on their list and have been uncomfortable about them endorsing someone ever since they did so. Can someone clarify how/if this is different?"
You are correct, there is no difference. But it is up to the Clinton campaign to file a complaint against MoveOn. The Clinton campaign might be hesitant to do this because they may want MoveOn's help in the general election.

I think Obama has a stash
[Read the article: Former DNC head switches allegiance]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]of comitted superdelagates waiting in the wings. He brings them out 1-at-a-time when they can serve a strategic purpose in the news cycle. Smart politics.

It's fun to watch the old gaurd
[Read the article: Former DNC head switches allegiance]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]point their trembling fingers and shriek "FOUL! FOUL! FOR SHAME!" when their rules are broken.

@factcheck1
[Read the article: Iran complains about Clinton comments]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]" guess strong words for deterrence purposes do work with Iran after all. Who do you want in the driver's seat in January 2009? If you want effective foreign policy and not namby pamby pat-a-cake with Iran, vote for Hillary and not Obama."
I, for one, sure-as-shit don't want a president who will drag us into a war on behalf of Israel. Clinton is bought-and-paid-for by the Israeli lobby.
-
Pretty well actually
[Read the article: Dem candidates weigh in on "Mission Accomplished"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]he's winning the democratic primary in total states, popular votes and delgates. Thanks for asking.

Regardless of who
[Read the article: Night lands Clinton closer to oblivion]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]eventually gets the Democratic Presidential nomination, the VP candidate will be an old white man from the South. Bet on it.

@elephantman
[Read the article: Clinton backer McGovern now wants her to drop out]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Do us a favor and list all the points that would make John McCain the best choice for president instead of just talking out your ass about the Democratic candidates.

@elephantman
[Read the article: Clinton backer McGovern now wants her to drop out]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I'll even give you a head start! Hot off the presses:
1. If elected President, McCain promises to fight evil.
-
Strange that Hillary
[Read the article: Clinton writes to Obama]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]makes no reference to her pledge not to participate in either the Florida or Michigan primaries. This dispute is between the good citizens of those states and the DNC. Both candidates signed pledges to stay out of it. Obama is under no obligation to undermine his own candidacy.

@winkandanod
[Read the article: Clinton writes to Obama]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]"It's not strange. It's none of your business."
Brilliant response! A mind like yours could save Hitlery's campaign!
-
Obama/Clinton or Clinton/Obama
[Read the article: Obama basically concedes two upcoming primaries]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]would be a good combination in a rational country. Right now America is as rational as a rabid badger. Either way the Dems would serve themselves best with a southern conservative with security and miltary bona fides to balance the ticket. I think that gives them the best chance to capture the so called "Regan Democrats". They can handle change, but not that much all at once.

My mother is 81
[Read the article: McCain defends comments about Hamas, Obama]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]and she loses her bearings all the time. Finally, she decided it was best to stop driving.

It seems clear to me
[Read the article: An "October surprise" to help Obama?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]that it would be in the best interest of the United State to immediately arrest Gabriel Schoenfeld, send him to Guantanamo and extract whatever information he has regarding impending terrorist attacts. He didn't pull this stuff out of thin air. He knows something....

And people wonder
[Read the article: Racism on the trail]
