There's plenty of good material

out there on Hagee. I envision some sort of 527 commercial that begins with recordings of all of Hagee's anti-catholic and anti-human remarks ending with at clip of McCain saying "I'm glad to have his endorsement."

Operation Chaos

is nothing more than a lot of hot air released by America's greatest blowhard. The notion that Limbaugh's minions are influencing this race is simply wrong. Limbaugh is nothing more than a distraction and a waste of time and energy. When you attribute this sort of influence to Limbaugh you are playing right into his hand.

Instead of wasting enregy and bandwidth on this moron, use it to point out that McCain is lying when he says that 401(k)'s and IRA's are subject to Capital Gains tax. I say this as an Obama supporter.

Chaos

"So you believe that all those Republicans who voted Bush into office ACTUALLY intend to vote for Hillary in the General Election???"

I would be more inclined to "believe" this phenomena when someome can present some reliable statistics as to how many Repubs actually voted for Hillary in the primary. Exit polling indicates otherwise.

@meffert

Yes and I know at least a dozen Republicans and none of them would ever take marching orders from Limbaugh. Sure, there are hundreds, maybe even thousands, who participated in Chaos but not enough to make a significant statistical difference.

Again, Limbaugh's primary agenda is to get Dems to turn on each other.

And his promise to balance the budget

- Does this include the "Emergency Spending" costs for the war on Iraq?

- If elected POTUS will you continue to request war funds as "emegency" requests thereby keeping them "off the books?". If so, what is your justification?

- What is your plan to begin accounting for war defecits as part of the national debt? What is your justification?

- Will you try to expand Capital Gains taxes to cover IRA's and 401(k)'s?

All so much more interesting than flag pins and snipers.

Simple

If you repeat the same lie enough times people will believe it. Classic politics.

@DanielGrie

"Its amazing how when Paul Krugman called out Governor Bush for the endless errors, distortions and lies in his campaign claims the leftwing media could not cheer him on enough. Now the Obama sycophants in the press can't stand that Krugman has focused his trained eye on their hero."

Actually Krugman lost his credibility back in 2002-2003 with his starry-eyed endorsement of the Iraq War.

Interesting facts about Rev. Wright:

1961 - Volunteered for US Marines. (gave up student deferrment at Virginia Union University).

1963 - Graduated Valedictorian from Corpsman school at Great Lakes Naval Training Center.

1965 - Graduated Salutarian as a cardiopulmonary technician from National Naval Medical Center.

1966 - Assigned as part of the medical team charged with care of President Lyndon B. Johnson following his surgery.

1967 - White House awarded Wright three letters of commendation.

...just something to think about while you're listening to the pundits and dittoheads.

@melthough

"I thought they were a 527 as well, and they are actively campaigning for Obama. I am on their list and have been uncomfortable about them endorsing someone ever since they did so. Can someone clarify how/if this is different?"

You are correct, there is no difference. But it is up to the Clinton campaign to file a complaint against MoveOn. The Clinton campaign might be hesitant to do this because they may want MoveOn's help in the general election.

I think Obama has a stash

of comitted superdelagates waiting in the wings. He brings them out 1-at-a-time when they can serve a strategic purpose in the news cycle. Smart politics.

@factcheck1

" guess strong words for deterrence purposes do work with Iran after all. Who do you want in the driver's seat in January 2009? If you want effective foreign policy and not namby pamby pat-a-cake with Iran, vote for Hillary and not Obama."

I, for one, sure-as-shit don't want a president who will drag us into a war on behalf of Israel. Clinton is bought-and-paid-for by the Israeli lobby.

Pretty well actually

he's winning the democratic primary in total states, popular votes and delgates. Thanks for asking.

Regardless of who

eventually gets the Democratic Presidential nomination, the VP candidate will be an old white man from the South. Bet on it.

Wednesday, May 7, 2008 02:03 PM

@elephantman

Do us a favor and list all the points that would make John McCain the best choice for president instead of just talking out your ass about the Democratic candidates.

@elephantman

I'll even give you a head start! Hot off the presses:

1. If elected President, McCain promises to fight evil.

Original article: Clinton writes to Obama

Strange that Hillary

makes no reference to her pledge not to participate in either the Florida or Michigan primaries. This dispute is between the good citizens of those states and the DNC. Both candidates signed pledges to stay out of it. Obama is under no obligation to undermine his own candidacy.

"It's not strange. It's none of your business."

Brilliant response! A mind like yours could save Hitlery's campaign!

Obama/Clinton or Clinton/Obama

would be a good combination in a rational country. Right now America is as rational as a rabid badger. Either way the Dems would serve themselves best with a southern conservative with security and miltary bona fides to balance the ticket. I think that gives them the best chance to capture the so called "Regan Democrats". They can handle change, but not that much all at once.

It seems clear to me

that it would be in the best interest of the United State to immediately arrest Gabriel Schoenfeld, send him to Guantanamo and extract whatever information he has regarding impending terrorist attacts. He didn't pull this stuff out of thin air. He knows something....
