  • Tenet, Smegma Head

[Read the article: George Tenet cashes in on Iraq]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

    Of course.

His feigned umbrage was so transparent. An umbrage he will retain until he is through with the book tour. Beware of Greeks bearing umrage, I say. He is a piece of merde who betrayed America and even his masters, most of whom are intellectually inferior to him.

  • Senator, Shmenator

[Read the article: Joe Lieberman, from his indie perch]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

This guy is not fit to serve. He is first and foremost a gainer, secondarily should be registered as a lobbyist of a foreign power, and thirdly, will do nothing for peace but whatever in the middle east. He is an ideologue. The difference between him and Christian rightists is just a matter of cross versus star of david. Orthodoxy of this stripe, Islamic, Jewish, Christian, is what keeps he world roiled as it is. This is not a good person, nor does he describe the Good Jew. He is the perfect believer, the kind of person who makes the world one of us v. them.

  • Twenty Year Predictions

[Read the article: Bjørn Lomborg feels a chill]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

I too predict what will occur in 20 years, my Dear Lomborg: every male will die his hair like yours.

You are such a silly ass looking for the next wave, so to speak; it is transparent.Bckley found the left was filled when he and God went to Yale, so he took a right turn. At least he did ahtat with wit and learning.

    Yrs, devotedly,

    McD

    PS. Sorry, Make that dye!

  • Sunset on Scientists...Particularly sacred ones who need to believe.

[Read the article: Our rosy future, according to Freeman Dyson]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Alas, there comes a time in every man's life, when the cells leaving town are greater in number than the cells regenerating. Have a nice lunch, sit and read and old book, have a nap. Time is over.

  • SMOKE

[Read the article: The presidential primary scam]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

I yearn for the smoke-filled room.

  • On Not Hating Hillary

[Read the article: Why conservatives love Barack Obama]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

An established progressive, I don't hate Hillary. Hate is a tough thing to carry and shows a lack of character, which is why Republicans handle it so well.

Hillary is guilty of hubris. That's the bottom line.

Her kind of certainty is matched only by Shrub's, and he talks with God directly, she only talks with Bill, the man who certifies Genius. He, of course, with Mr. Rubin, created the new brave world which we are now trying to reassemble after the free for all bank debacle and the bundling of bad debt to sell to suckers.

Obama is a decent and fresh possibility for us. He is smart and thinks things through. And he survived in Illinois, for goddness sake, a tough nut to crack.

  • Shilling for Yesterday

[Read the article: Barack Obama's nouvelle vague]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

I suppose to have this kind of ardor for a woman at his age should bring some admiration to Shapiro. But to be so consistently shilling for the consistently middle of the road deja vu candidate who will convene study groups for everything but nail polish selection and can not give answers now because it would tip off the enemy, is embarrassing.

  • San Francisco Has a Newspaper

[Read the article: Voting for Clinton is like choosing a chick flick?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Very sweet of you to cite a SF Chronicle writer...did I get that newspaper name right? I bet they were thrilled up there and are dancing in the rain as we read this.

  • Orman

[Read the article: I Like to Watch]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Suze Orman makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up. I rush by her to whatever is next after the LA PBS station. Why this kind of dreck is paid for by PBS is beyond me.

And housewife is a word that can easily and readily be used if it is descriptive of a person who is, well, a housewife.

  • The Persistent Eleven

[Read the article: It ain't over yet]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

After TWELVE losses, one having come earlier than the Ohio victory last night.

  • Dalai Shmalai

[Read the article: Seduced by the Dalai Lama]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

    This man makes me angry.

He represents an old and exploitive theocracy which lived off of the poorest, dominated them, and exploited the belief system of a relatively primitive people. That the poor ad ignorant did not rebel (as far as the rest of us know) is not of relevance

Supported by romantics, new agers, and rich meat eaters who fall in love with con men, India's Wisdom, Feng Shiu, and ancient religious figures (religious is not an opprobium, by the way) the DL has flourished while the poor of Tibet have had a rising standard of living.

One man's romanticism is often another man's pain.

  • well, No!

[Read the article: Can Stephen Colbert save America?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

    To answer the question, no.

With more candor than adult restraint (in the case of Maher) these people tell more truth and belittle the belittle-able in ways that have a result with a good chunk of the populace, one currently engaged in the democratic process strongly, as the result f Obama's efforts.

  • Ba**s

[Read the article: The Democrats' God problem]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Frankly, Shapiro, I think this is a shallow and uninteresting and useless as one might imagine. Is there no work for you in the world?

  • Not practical

[Read the article: Why Obama should pick Hillary Clinton as veep]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

This is not likely to happen because the vetting process would probably be painful for Bill and the collision of the Clintons' financial interests and the administration could be significant. Probably impossible to bring that off. And of course with the veep twofer, you get the anger/hatred of Bill to deal with. No, America was brought to a standstill by Bill's not fessing up and he Mad Dog Republicans baying into the night with that vile lawyer trying to hang Billyboy for Jesus. Let's not go to any lynching parties this time.
