Original article: Obama on Father's Day

The other side

Let's see if a democrat can even begin to discuss the depth of anti-male bigotry in family law, bigotry that has been defended by feminist organizations for the past 50 years.

There is a reason F4J and other groups constantly lobby for reform of family law - it is because millions of fathers want their children to have two parents, but the state and feminist groups would prefer children grow up fatherless.

Until the democrats fess up to the horrors of family court, and their complicity in creating an anti-family body of law, not much will change in lefty circles.

Just look at California: gay marriage - yes, joint custody - no.

@bernbart

You are incorrect. Children are presumed to be placed with the primary caregiver, regardless of parental fitness - the "tender years" doctrine holds in CA, despite attempts to prevent this bias.

There is no presumptive, rebuttable joint custody legislation in CA that gives both parents equal footing in front of a judge. In addition, if one parent (usually the mom) has >70% custody, then she can leave the state or country without notifying the father.

Poor women

Hopefully the "mother and siblings" won't be punished. After all, they are likely mentally ill (post partum depression, PMDD?) and need help, not jail terms.

Yeeeah!!

Yeaah, old lesbians! Yeeeeaaah!

Original article: Angry women? Not so fast

Lovely Rebecca

Yes - angry, messed up American white women whose sense of entitlement is destructive and ungoverned by law or principle.

They are, indeed, "wackadoo".

Tuesday, June 24, 2008 03:12 PM

No, a freebie

Are women legally required to sign up for the Selective Service? No.

Are women legally allowed to serve in combat zones?

No.

Sigh. More entitlements for women, that's all this is.

She's a woman!

She should support a woman candidate, no matter how incompetent, lying, wooden or pandering that candidate is!

Original article: How gay it would be

hahahaha!

Brava, Sarah! Straight boys are such a drag! They commit suicide at extravagantly high levels, they are doing poorly in school relative to just about any other group (but that's not a "boy crisis" - stupid heteros!), and they tend to be on the receiving end of lots of legal discrimination when they grow up relative to women and protected minorities like gay men.

Hahaha! Let's make fun of them as often as possible - it's campy and faaaabulous.

I read the news and see lots of them branded as child molesters (but not the equally aged girls they have sex with), and see them on the hook for child support by the older women who assault them (can you say "loser"!!!), and it is just hilarious.

It's also funny that they are more affected by divorce and family breakdown than other groups, disrupting the plans of many, many women who are looking for an empowering divorce experience!

Keep the laughs coming, Sarah!

@truth_machine

"It's also predicated on Joan Walsh having her head buried so far up her vagina that she can lick her cervix. It's no triumph of feminism for women to match or even surpass men in their sexism."

Hahaha! On target.

Rebecca - vaginocentric man-blaming is sexist, even though it's taught in Wymyn's Studies classes across America.

Keep on cervix-licking: you're not yet a complete parody of a writer, but you're close.

Original article: Bully for Nancy Pelosi!

Bullsh*t

Second in line to the President of a country which consumes half the global defense budget.

American women love crying sexism, no matter how ludicrous and pathetically divorced from reality their plaints may be.

Like, Oh My God!

"Girl crush" - so cool!

Judith Warner must have them, like ...all the time. She is soooo cool.

And HRC is like, a "fun house mirror" - what a sentence!

Wow -why can't women get elected, instead of being treated like immature children - why? Like, "girl crush"? Can you say it?

Why?

And when will it end? This oppression of women, especially urban, college-educated white victimized women (not ladies!!!!) MUST END!

Stand tall, sisters! The REVOLUTION is NIGH!

Saturday, June 28, 2008 11:59 AM

Whoa

Both declining in value, both with ponderous legal and financial obligations.

Not a bargain.

Saturday, June 28, 2008 12:01 PM

Here's a solution

Why don't any of the women in the article just marry men who make less than they do, men who would prefer to stay at home and take care of the children?

Sounds like a solution - see Linda Hershman for more info.

You want to stop being a trailing spouse - start acting like a man.

Bill Clinton says Barack Obama must 'kiss my ass' for his support

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/uselection2008/barackobama/2211812/Bill-Clinton-says-Barack-Obama-must-%E2%80%99kiss-my-ass%E2%80%99-for-his-support.html

"Mr Obama is expected to speak to Mr Clinton for the first time since he won the nomination in the next few days, but campaign insiders say that the former president's future campaign role is a "sticking point" in peace talks with Mrs Clinton's aides.

The Telegraph has learned that the former president's rage is still so great that even loyal allies are shocked by his patronising attitude to Mr Obama, and believe that he risks damaging his own reputation by his intransigence.

A senior Democrat who worked for Mr Clinton has revealed that he recently told friends Mr Obama could "kiss my ass" in return for his support. "...

@saman65

Wow, making excuses for a former President of the United States and his wife, the centimillionaire, self-avowed feminist who recently was running for nomination of the Democratic Party, who herself looks everywhere and at everyone but herself for reasons to explain her poorly run campaign's failure.

Keep blaming everyone else, saman65, it's worked for the feminists in the past (and now we see the deep racism behind their movement), and it will probably work in the future.

Pathetic, not at all statesman-like, and sadly typical of both Clintons' behavior during the past few months. And women (white, college-educated women, predominantly) keep up the denial.

Keep pretending, saman65.
