Feminists' lament
[Read the article: Women ARE funny. And foxy!]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]As Stanley writes, "It used to be that women were not funny. Then they couldn't be funny if they were pretty. Now a female comedian has to be pretty -- even sexy -- to get a laugh."
Why can't ugly, sexless women women get a laugh?
The Patriarchy is so oppressive.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]Top 10 reasons Clinton/Obama ticket would never work
10. Obama has trouble giving speeches with knives in his back.
9. Combined slogan would be “Change we can believe in because it’s change, did I mention change?”
8. Bill would keep asking why Obama Girl’s not on White House staff.
7. Would mean endless radio play of smarmy Paul McCartney/Stevie Wonder ditty “Ebony and Ivory.”
6. At Cleveland debate, Hillary only offered Obama “pillow” when he actually wanted La-Z-Boy recliner.
5. Oprah says there’s only room for one woman with a single name.
4. Americans can’t decide which middle name they find more objectionable - Hussein or Rodham.
3. His good looks, her brains - together they make Mitt Romney.
2. Media can’t decide who to suck up to more
1. One word: Obamary

[Read the article: Single? Hand over your briny vegetables!]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]We don't need to open your pickle jars. Until there's joint custody, abolishment of alimony and an end to discrimination against men in family court, nothing you can do will drag us to the altar.
Enjoy the fruits of feminism.

[Read the article: In India, there's big money in wombs]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Two gay Israelis using technology women have fought for for decades in order to bring new life into this world.
How could anyone argue with that?
Thank the Goddess for reproductive technologies women have fought for decades to have developed. We truly are living in a post-gender role Utopia.

[Read the article: In India, there's big money in wombs]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Juliebird's anti-Semitic, First World elitism rings through loud and clear. By questioning the empowerment of the surrogates involved here, she implies the Israeli fathers of the child are exploiting Indian women. Enough with the anti-Jewish hatred, Juliebird! Enough!
Oh, and please let women in India make their own choices, Juliebird. They are empowered, enlightened and engaged in their own decisions - and they don't need an American to tell them what to do.

@Juliebird
[Read the article: Dr. Laura to Silda: It's all your fault!]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Yeah, and a woman can be a cold, sexless, emotionally abusive harpy who neglects her children and her husband, and a man is still going to be vilified for trying to get some happiness out of life if he strays from his marriage.
If she gets a divorce, she still is overwhelmingly favored in any custody dispute, hence will likely receive the marital home and child support to a degree far more likely than her husband could expect from Family Court.
Meanwhile, if his wife strays, he is blamed for being neglectful and abusive because she is obviously unhappy. The femninist entitlement mentality will still argue for her getting the house, etc. in the event of a divorce. As we've seen from Newsweek and countless pop-psych books, she will be "empowered" by her experience without the stigma of any moral judgement.
Feminists have been crowing about how oppressive marriage is - that being said, why are the same feminists decrying Spitzer's actions, which are entirely consistent with feminist ideology.
Who knows why he did what he did. Maybe he just got tired of a sexless, emotionally abusive woman whom he is tied to through the injustices of the Family Court. Maybe he just got bored. Maybe he is amoral and hates traditional marriage, like many feminists. Who knows?
Either way, it's none of your business, Juliebird.

@Pendragon3
[Read the article: Girls will be boys ... at women's colleges?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]"So as a preliminary matter, I would note that most women's colleges were founded when places like Harvard, Yale, and Princeton were not open to women, and indeed, when a regular college education was not generally available to women.
Certainly that is not the case now, in fact women make up the vast majority of students at most accredited colleges and universities.
Given this widespread gender disparity, it is time for bogoted women's colleges to stop their hateful discrimination against men.
Apologists such as yourself should stop discriminating as well.

@Greeneyedkzin
[Read the article: Five years and counting]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Read the link at the beginning of my post. The data are from the Federation of American Scientissts website, which posted the PDF of the Congressional Research Service study from which the data were obtained.
Hardly an "MRA" site.
Try to hold back your shrill, anti-male bias for just a second, if that's possible. I know it's hard - your hormones are raging, and you're filled with righteous indignation at your oppression, which you probably learned about at an expensive private college.
On the other hand, your fact-free ranting serves a greater purpose, I suppose. Along with Gloria Steinem's insane ramblings and Geraldine Ferraro's racist proclamations, your words also illustrate the sick, rotten heart at the core of American feminism.
Alongside those harridans, your lack of respect for facts, your deep, seething hatred against white people, and men in particular, and your obvious deep self-involvement verging on the pathological about your imagined victimhood perfectly lay bare the sickness that is American feminism.
Good job!
