Wow, TCF
[Read the article: Feminists want just a female prez?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Another disingenuous pseudo-argument that conveniently ignores any proof of your foregone conclusion.
Feminists are always touting some benefit of females over males (more empathy, less proclivity for war, etc.), and female leaders over male leaders. No one ever cites any evidence for this perceived female superiority, though. They are always also insisting on more female Congressmen, business leaders, etc., with nary a mention of qualifications.
Oh, and never a peep about (any) female combat infantry, female garbage collectors, etc. Oh well.
"Equality" is something that is pretty elastic when defined by a bigot, regardless of his or her gender.

A group that "...aims to advance women’s leadership in all communities and sectors, up to the U.S. presidency."
No mention of qualifications here.
Oh, and the members of the Board of Directors can be seen here:
http://www.thewhitehouseproject.org/about/supporters/
Like those of most feminist organizations, this board consists of all women. Not a man to be found.
So much for equality.

But for some reason, feminists fight this tooth and nail....

Can we blame any men in this story? Please help me out, feminists.
Oh, and we know violence by women does not exist. Perhaps she suffered from some sort of delayed post-partum depression.
Find a man to blame! Soon!

Alimony Upheld For Mom Who Kicked Son To Death
HACKENSACK, NJ (AP) ― Linda Calbi admitted she kicked her 14-year-old son, causing injuries that led to his death. But a judge has ruled that she's still entitled to alimony payments from her ex-husband.
Christopher Calbi had sought to end the payments, claiming his ex-wife violated her moral obligation to provide a safe home for their two children after the couple divorced.
Superior Court Judge Eugene Austin refused. He suspended the $3,183 monthly payments while Linda Calbi spends 30 months in jail; however, the judge said that when she gets out, she can apply to have them resumed.
Her ex-husband also must continue to make $400 monthly payments toward the $50,000 back alimony debt that he had amassed.
"I am not going to terminate the contract," Austin said.
"It's a valid obligation negotiated between the parties. Mrs. Calbi has pleaded guilty. She will do her time. But for the next 30 or 40 years, you two are parents of the same child and you both are going to have to deal with that."
During a court hearing in Bergen County, the Teaneck man said he has a "huge hole" in his heart and has become "financially destitute" since the Aug. 2003 death of his elder son, Matthew.
Linda Calbi was originally charged with murder, but was allowed to plead guilty to aggravated assault after admitting that she kicked Matthew in her Old Tappan home, causing injuries that led to his death.
"That someone like me should have to support the woman who did this to my child is beyond comprehension," Christopher Calbi said after the court hearing.
His ex-wife's attorney, Ian Hirsch, called the ruling fair, arguing that the woman's crime cannot be used as a legal reason to end alimony payments.
"Mr. Calbi is using his son's death to take away any obligations he has," Hirsch said. "I think he's trying to take advantage of a tragedy and turn it around to his economic benefit."

Someone asked what I am doing for equal rights. I mentor young women and minorities in the healthcare field. I have also actively helped in several campaigns for equal custody in California, fighting gender feminist groups who continue to abuse children by legally depriving them of their fathers and working mothers during a divorce.

Child support IS NOT only to support the child
[Read the article: Has Judith Warner gone too far?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Child support can legally be used by the recipient parent to do anything she wants, including, as defined by recent case law, upgrade her standard of living.
Child support can also be collected after the death of the obligor:

There are no legal mechanisms in place anywhere in the US to ensure child support is used for a child's benefit.
