Don't Blame the Left for Conspiracy Theorists

Most conspiracy theorists are right-wingers. It's only their anti-government ravings that make them seem like lefties. The *vast* majority of leftists believe that a massive government f*ck-up allowed the attacks to happen undetected, for a number of reasons. No left paper or journal I've read will even touch the 9/11 conspiracies, except to note what they say about American society.

9/11 conspiracy theorists remind me a lot of creationists. Since the theory of evolution cannot explain every mechanism 100%, it must be 100% false and God created everything 6,000 years ago. Since the 9/11 Commission can't explain everything satisfactorially to everyone, it must be a cover-up and government agents or Joos! (or Jooish government agents!) brought down the towers.

As for the Attorny General not indicting bin Laden, that's typical of the AG, holding back charges of those whom they indict. You don't go after a criminal for everything at once. If, by chance, you lose, you want charges in reserve to get another swing at bat. If bin Laden is ever caught alive, he will face charges for 9/11 . . . after he's been tried for the African embassy bombings.
