Nice article. Funny, our comics con is usually over-flowing with superheroes and Klingons, not the alternative comics press, but that's the South for you. I'm off to the Fantagraphics website...

Lovely

It's good to see the Hernandez brothers are still getting well-deserved love in the press. _Scott Pilgrim_'s steady climb in popularity is enervating, but it's far too lovable to stop now.

If I might throw in two cents, Matt Fraction's _FIVE FISTS OF SCIENCE_ is a boldy insane story of satanism and heroics among the classic American inventor/business gods like Edison, Tesla, Morgan, and Carnegie. It's delightfully slanderous against some, but it also reveals the truly sweet (and factual) friendship between Nikola Tesla and Mark Twain. It may tread too close to superhero territory for the literati, but it's too good a story for those snobs anyway.
