    No Danger?

    "While there is no danger that America will become a fascist, totalitarian or theocratic state, every step we take in that direction is a degradation and a danger."

    One of my college professors told me they thought the same thing about the Nazis, even up to four years after they had taken control.

    There is *always* the danger that a democracy can fall into dictatorship. Perhap only duing the Great Depression was the threat greater than it is today, but the threat today is real, and it is growing.

    I fear greatly for America.
