A kinder, gentler war on terror

    It's the religion, stupid!

    Judeo-Christian based totalitarianism is equally unwanted with Islamo totalitarianism.

    Theocracy, under any name, is bad.

    Religious teachings are metaphors. We have to remind ourselves of that one verifiable fact about scriptures. Only when we have de-fanged the metaphor will we be safe from the rising totalitarianism of religion.
