    Conspiracy Theory. Huh.

    For those who are outraged about the P.W. list; do you really think it was some sort of exclusionary conspiracy? Do you honestly think for a minute some cabal sat down and decided to exclude women writers?

    So... how many slots should have been reserved for women? Some? All? None? Literary tastes and opinions vary, clearly - but I would have thought that altering their choices to include at least one woman author would be more condescending and insulting.
