Was Rahm Emanuel the reason the Democrats took back the House in the 2006 election? A Chicago reporter makes the case.
  • Democrat: The Other corporate party

Hmmm, who is responsible for getting Repugnants out of numerous Congressional and Senatorial seats??? Oh I don't know, could it actually be those who voted?

However, I'm actually beginning to wonder why I even took my ass to the polls and pulled levers for the current majority. They've done shit. As long as Democrats make no attempt to end US occupation and empire overseas (so that they can continue to fatten their wallets) I will pull a lever or push a button on a screen for third party contenders from now on. And for those of you out there (Democrats especially) who scorn Ralph Nader voters... Fuck you and your mediocrity. This is what we get: A two-party ruling elite system which serves corporate interests only... and the corporate media who love them.

Rahm, Howard? Who gives a shit? If they are the supposed agents of change, then the Democratic party is in sad, sad shape. Just ask people from Chicago, or residents of Vermont during the Dean Governor days. Dean drove a SUV bigger than some shacks.
