One of the best assets of the above link are the compendious references, and sources. I have found it to be a boon in my own research.

Lastly, I heartily recommend one of the best books ('Deep Politics and the Death of JFK') by the 'Dean' of JFK assassination researchers, Peter Dale Scott.
I believe it behooves all real Americans to do their bit and at least make some effort to acquaint themselves with the research. It isn't good enough to simply fob it off on others,or believe the most facile claptrap from the likes of Gerald Posner, that the case is closed.
And btw, if you think Posner's codswallop is worth anything more than yesterday's lickspittle, I advise checking out the "Posnerisms":

Forensic certainty
In all that I read on one of the websites, certain irrefutable facts are not taken intom account. I did not believe in the "single bullet theory", even with Posner's analysis until recent advanced forensic replications demonstrated conclusively that Posner was right. The last was an elaborate recreation using the same rifle bullet, trajectories, bone densities using pig cartiledge, at the exact angles and distances replicating Kennedy and Connelly's positions.
The results mirrored exactly the wounds and trajectory of the bullet, repeated several times, with each bullet not "Pristine" but slightly flattened as was the original. The kicker was when Connelly took off his shirt to show his entrance wound in the back, which was a sideways entrance, consistent with the observation the bullet began tumbling after it hit Kennedy and entered Connelly.
There is no doubt that all shots came from the rear. The sound acoustics from 1975 that indicate a fourth shot have been discredited, by a man who listened to a home recording and realized it came a minute after the Shreriff's instructions after the shootings.
Whether Oswald was the shooter is another story, but as one documentary mentioned, if he had conferderates in the act that set hinm up, there has been no evidence that has surfaced in any way linking him to them. Furthermore other "lynchpins" such as a "bogus" trip to the Cuban embassy in Mexico city have been debunked. He was there, his signature is on the hotel record, and the Cuban/ Russian agents he contacted remember him.
It is hard to refute the advancements in science that have confirmed explicitely things that were thought impossible and demonstrated exactly and replicated exactly and consistently how they wre done.
And I have been a skeptic of the original line for years.
If Oswald was innocent, and other pulled the trigger, no real evidence has surfaced to support that.

Conspiracy theorists can continue to embarass themselves and expose their ignorance. However, history has indeed been reclaimed.

The CIA - Killing America's Political Leaders since 1947
Talbot is right. The JFK assassination was an obvious CIA hit. To kill JFK, the Kennedy-haters in the CIA used the same formula that they used against Castro. They employed Mafia and anti-Castro assassins to do their dirty work, in an effort to achieve plausible deniabilty. In 1963, the CIA was confident that it had enough allies in the Johnson administration, the media, and the military-industrial complex to pull off the assassination and cover it up. Had the operation not gone so badly (Oswald being taken alive), the CIA's cover story and coverup would probably have been more successful. However, when mob-connected Jack Ruby was employed by the conspirators to kill Oswald, even America's most trusting citizens would suspect a conspiracy. Propagandists, Gerand Posner and Vincent Bugliosi are nothing more than CIA assets (whores) doing the work of their paymaster, the CIA.

Thank you for your reasoned and logical conclusion about Oswald and the Kennedy assassination. It's good to find there are still some some of us left who know that evidence outweighs conjecture. Regardless of how many people believe Kennedy was a victim of the sinister machinations of others, that doesn't make it so. Jimmy Durante had it right, and I sometimes hear that late great comic's voice when I read yet another theory about November 22, 1963--"I'm surrounded by assassins!"
