When will Mc Cain and Palin discuss their platform and the major issues of this campaign? They give good speeches but do not tell the truth. I have learned about Obama and Biden from their speeches and website:

OFFSHORE DRILLING:

The constraint for US production is not lack of drilling grounds, it is lack of equipment to do any more drilling. Even Boone Pickens says, "You cannot drill your way out of this problem".

JUDGEMENT

In Mc Cain's rush to try to win this election, he hurriedly appointed a woman who is totally unqualified for the position. Do you think Palin would had been chosen if she were a man? NEVER! I am INSULTED that he thinks women are so stupid to not see past this. Palin has no experience in Washington whatsoever. With Mc Cain's age and skin cancer history, he is a health risk and his odds of living out his term are reduced. Do you think Palin could handle the job because she can wear a skirt? I think he is sacrificing the security of this country just to try to win this election. This is patriotism and America first? I think not!

HEALTH CARE

Did you know that in infant mortality, we rank #26? Cuba ranks above us. Every developed country has national health care except the USA. About 30% of our health care dollars are used by the insurance companies to screen claims and deny coverage! Foreign countries pay about 3% on the dollar. Everyone should be able to pay an affordable $$ for health care.

ABORTION

Mc Cain does not trust women to make that choice - rape or no rape - wanted or unwanted - He says - YOU WILL HAVE THAT CHILD! Obama trusts women enough to put the choice in their hands.

ON IRAQ

Obama is not advocating an immediate pull-out. He proposes setting a time for Iraq to step up and take charge. Mc Cain will continue to pump millions into Iraq adding to our $482+ deficit. Iraq now has about an $80 billion dollar surplus. Should gov't continue to SUCK US DRY - continue to play policeman in Iraq while Iraq continues to gain a surplus?

HOMOSEXUALITY

Obama supports non-discrimination and the rights of domestic partnerships. When did you choose to be "straight"? Do you shun homosexuals and lesbians or are many of them your friends and family? If so, how could you even consider voting for a man like John Mc Cain, a bigot and adulterer!

TAX INCREASES

Obama promises lower taxes for 95% of American families. If you earn more than $300,000 a year, you should pay more taxes - not less as Mc Cain would do. The CEO's of the Fortune 500 Companies pay a lower tax rate than their secretaries due to all the loopholes in the tax laws created for the Super Rich. Mc Cain would continue that practice. The Republican tax policies do not work. The wealthy have invested heavily in China, India, etc. NOT THE USA. Cindy Mc Cain will not release her tax info because she is more heavily invested in foreign countries than she is in the USA. And the Mc Cains want to be seen as PATRIOTS?

INHERITANCE TAX

Without inheritance tax for the Super Rich, someone like Bill Gates will pass on his billions in stock gains with NO TAX! Middle America pays taxes to subsidize the wealthy. Do you want this to continue? Obama says NO - Mc Cain says the rich should not have to pay - What do you think? 97% of Americans pay no inheritance tax - Bill Gates' kids should pay taxes on all the money he has earned virtually tax free in investment growth. Do you think they should inherit it all at no tax? Who is going to pay? If Mc Cain gets in, YOU WILL PAY!!!

8 YEARS IS ENOUGH!!! Bush inherited a strong economy which is now in the sewer and going lower. We are less secure than we were 8 years ago. We have an increasing DEFICIT with no end in sight. I am afraid of Mc Cain and what will happen if he gets into office. I am afraid of his inability to make good decisions. His VP choice is one example, his not going to Washington for the Medicare vote is another, his lack of trust for women to make good choices (women's rights), his tendency to go along with Bush more than 90% of the time are others. I also fear continued tax breaks for the Super Wealthy and Mc Cain's low status in his graduating class. How many of you graduated 5th from the bottom? That alone should send a clear message! Can he lead in the right direction? I am not afraid of Obama. I think he will tax the rich - he will stand up for WOMEN"S RIGHTS - he will work toward an end in Iraq - he will work toward cutting that deficit by cutting tax loopholes, he will work toward affordable National Health Coverage for all Americans, and toward alternate energy sources and lack of dependence on oil, he will support non-discrimination and will oppose any constitutional amendment aimed at validating discrimination.

OBAMA represents our BEST CHANCE for change. Think about what these last 8 years have done to you personally. I for one, have family members who cannot find work and have no health coverage because they cannot afford it. I have less money to spend and I know people who are Super Rich who are praying that Mc Cain gets in so they can continue to pay a low tax rate. Read the Democratic Platform and if you still do not like Obama personally, then vote for what the Democratic ticket stands for in this election. I can only hope that you will educate yourselves before you vote in November!!!!!

Mc Cain graduated FIFTH FROM THE BOTTOM of his class at Annapolis. Do yo really want him making decisions and running this country?
