Original article: "The Day the Earth Stood Still"

Did not bother to read the review...

I stopped reading after the snide Gore comment. Anyone so cynical as to think that was funny is too cynical to give any kind of science fiction movie a fair shake.

Take a lesson from Roger Ebert, "a movie should be judged by how well it does what it is trying to do". That is not a cynical approach to movie reviews.
