Wow, NOW, the truth emerges....

while those of us who were Hillary supporters, who dared say that Obama was basically no different than Hillary on the issues (albeit his supposed stance on the war though no one will ever convince me he would have taken a different stance if he actually had to vote)were trashed unmercifully.

What really got to me, though, was how these centrist, often former republicans, used CDS to paint Hillary Clinton as a war mongering hawk.

Markos, as well as Arianna, both (by their own admission or in the case of Arianna well documented on television), were Reagan supporters. While they pushed hatred of all things Clinton, spun Hillary as the anti peace movement witch, never have I heard either of them recant their worship of Ronald Reagan, the president who supported Pinochet, the miserable despot who killed, tortured and disappeared thousands; who supported and trained the militaristic thugs of Guatemala and Nicaragua whose goal was to massacre the indigenous people of their countries daring to want a more just government.

Markos claimed to only support "progressives" yet Jim Webb was worshipped on his blog. Now I don't mind Webb and I am thrilled he beat George Allen but Webb worked in the Reagan administration and to call him, or McCaskill, or a few other blue dogs, "progressive" is a joke.

Hillary the hawk, Webb the peacenik.

What a joke.

Klein and friends

(Matthews, Barnicle, Carlson, Gregory....they're all the same) are first class frat boy lovers. These are the same pundit boys, (middle schoolers in my view, not men) who spent the 90s trashing the Clintons, tittering and giggling about sexual stories. These are the boys that remain as misogynistic as most middle school boys are (it's somewhat understandable with 12 to 14 year olds who are just experiencing their maleness).

This pundit class had frat boy envy. They loved them some Ivy League frat boys like W who got away with it all; the partying, the failing, the avoiding combat. But they despised that "Bubba boy," that trailer trash boy from the south who rose above his circumstances, became a Rhodes scholar, and president. Their mentor Broder told them Clinton was not "worthy of the presidency" but W was destined.

They trashed Al Gore because like Clinton he was smart, and was not the cool partying frat boy. These pundits have blood on their hands. Even when they declared their "anti war" beliefs (like Matthews) they could not restrain their manly crush on the frat boy

Between their sexist bs in this past election, their CDS since the 90s, their hatred of anything not spun by them, these guys aided and abetted the election of W, his war and his war criminal activity. They will never admit their lies and spin; their sanctimony that gave us 8 years of hell.

I blame them all. But they will never recant. Their egos are too big.

Thanks again Glen

for shedding light and leading us to or reminding us (those who already read the article), on the issue of a lack of journalists.

NBC and MSNBC have long been jokes.

Brian Williams lost any respect I might have had when he mentioned how much he respected hate monger Rush. What the hell is wrong with people. Matthews gives voice to people like Coulter and Ingram. Maddow happily gives Buchannan a regular spot. And slugs like Tom Delay are treated with respect on the MSNBC set.

Yet these men and women practically seethe with hate even mentioning the name Clinton. What the hell?

When I saw David Gregory dancing with Karl Rove in the schtick news gathering, I wondered: WHY do these people not get it? Socializing with, fraternizing with, being friendly with the politicians is NOT a good thing. We need watchdogs for democracy .....not lapdogs.

But will the voters in those

states ever get...they vote themselves into getting screwed and they vote their republican daddies/heroes ie elected representatives.

Call it ignorance or stupidity but it happens. Delay would have still been reelected if the media had not exposed his crimes. He could put pesticide in their kids lunches and they'd still vote for him.

These people BELIEVE it's unions that hurt them when in reality they are being screwed over and over and over by people like Corker. It is as sad as it is depressing.

I had not paid much

attention to David Gregory until last year. To me he was just another young(er) journalist, seemingly kissing up to Russert and the NBC suits, to get ahead.

Then on some program on C-span there was a round table that included Gregory, Helen Thomas, Dan Rather and someone else (can't remember the fourth). The discussion was exactly about the role of the press. Helen Thomas made it clear that in her view, the press failed miserably on holding Bush accountable, in challenging him. And Gregory, as smug as ever, talked down to this brilliant women, with the same kind of "we did our job and we DID hold Bush accountable." Helen sort of rolled her eyes. Dan Rather also challenged Gregory's "we did our job." Gregory also disagreed with Rather (though not nearly as condescending as he was to Helen....always has seemed that it's easier for the MSNBC/NBC boys to insult women). Anyway, Gregory is a dolt and a tool. But then who on NBC is not these days???? Maybe they are not tools for the same folks...Gregory and Williams for their masters, MSNBC for their egos......and for the sake of sanctimony.

I am a liberal and I have been as disgusted with MSNBC as I have been with FOX.
