Obama is smarter, but McCain ain't "dumb" . . .

I'm a left-of-center moderate. Clinton is left-of-center. McCain is right-of-center. Obama is liberal. I always vote for the candidate closest to the center.
The Bush Admin has done a completely horrible job of leading the military. Most of the folks in the military I know have turned against Bush & Co. They even "long for the days of the Bill Clinton Admin." (one AF officer's words).
Ending the Iraq war is important to me. Ending it such that there isn't a civil war in Iraq, which leads to a regional ME war is even more important. I think McCain has a better chance of that.
