There's still a suspect.

Although Dr. Zack was let go, he returned frequently to visit friends, and used the Fort Detrick laboratories for “off-the-books” work after hours. After reports of missing biological specimens—including anthrax, Ebola and the simian AIDs virus—came to light, as well as reports of unauthorized research, a review of surveillance camera tapes recorded Dr. Zack entering the lab late on the night of Jan. 23, 1992, according to The Hartford Courant report. He was let in that night by Marian Rippy, a lab pathologist and close friend of Zack’s, although she now says she has no memory of the evening. She did say that Zack occasionally visited and that other friends let him in.

So, the FBI sure has curious methods these days.

They tried to frame Stephen Hatfill for anthrax: http://tinyurl.com/476qc5

They tried to frame Brandon Mayfield for the Madrid bombings: http://tinyurl.com/67kc7u

Every terror cell they roll up seems to be run by an FBI plant: http://tinyurl.com/zveyr

And, of course, now we can expect them to declare "case closed" with this "suicide".

Gee, just imagine if the Bush government had been able to use all the "anti-terror tools" they keep insisting on against Hatfill and Mayfield. You know the ones: secret court proceedings, no due process, torture confessions, etc.

They'd have convicted them. And ABC(Disney) and the other GWOT fantasy writers (24, anyone?) would have had us in Cohen's post-9/11 panic straight through from then until now, scared to death of our neighbors and surrendering our few remaining civil liberties faster than you can say, "9/11 was an inside job."

It was. Don't stop demanding answers about the obvious false flag anthrax attacks, but also make sure you check out the the History Commons' complete 9/11 timeline. Every fact sourced and sorted in time. Not the way the facts were originally presented: on page B15 or buried in the Style section, but in context. The story takes on a very different shape.

Oh, also, no use letting WaPo off the hook. Remember back in 2006 when they presented an almost entirely unsourced article saying that the anthrax was made by Jethro in his basement? (http://tinyurl.com/muqub)

Oops, nobody believed it.

And maybe that's what the FBI, Cohen, ABC and the WaPo could take away from this "botched" investigation. You can really only sell your credibility once.

Let's also remember

After the Ames strain was identified, the FBI approved the destruction of the entire Ames spore collection.

Last month, after consulting with the FBI, Iowa State University in Ames destroyed anthrax spores collected over more than seven decades and kept in more than 100 vials. A variant of the so-called Ames strain had been implicated in the death of a Florida man from inhalational anthrax, and the university was nervous about security.

Totally not a coverup.

@susan sunflower

The collection that got destroyed served as a batch index. If you could match the genotype of the strain in the field to one in the Ames database, then you would know to whom it had initially been sent. And that would be something an investigator.. might want.. if they were interested in actually solving a crime.

Since the destruction, Roth said, the university has heard nothing from the FBI about anthrax. As for whether the destroyed strains might have clarified the origins of Ames, he said, "now we'll never know."

Anthrax Interview w/ Bioterror expert from 2006

Dr Franics A. Boyle literally helped write the law with regards to terrorism, as he was responsible for drafting the Biological Weapons Anti-Terrorism Act of 1989 that was passed unanimously by both Houses of Congress and signed into law by President Bush Sr.

Professor Boyle teaches international law at the University of Illinois, Champaign. He holds a Doctor of Law Magna Cum Laude as well as a Ph.D. in Political Science, both from Harvard University. He has also served on the Board of Directors of Amnesty International (1988-1992), and represented Bosnia- Herzegovina at the World Court.

The professor started off by explaining the motivation behind the October 2001 anthrax attacks:

"After the September 11th 2001 Terrorist attacks, the Bush administration tried to ram the USA PATRIOT Act through Congress, that would have, if already had not, set up a police state. And we know for a fact that the PATRIOT Act had already been drafted and was sitting on Ashcroft's desk as of September 10th.

Senators Daschle and Leahy were holding it up because they realised what this would lead to, indeed the first draft of the Patriot Act, they would have suspended the writ of habeas corpus. And all of a sudden out of nowhere come these anthrax attacks. And at the time I myself did not know precisely what was going on, either with respect to September 11th or the anthrax attacks, but then the New York Times revealed that the technology behind the letter to Senator Daschle. A trillion spores per gram, special electro-static treatment.

This is super-weapons grade Anthrax that even the United States government, in its openly proclaimed programs, and we had one before Nixon, had never developed before. So it was obvious to me that this was from a US Government lab, there is no where else you could have gotten that."

The professor concludes that the anthrax attacks are a false flag.

A cure for irony deficiency?

Revisiting the anthrax bioterror threat, I reran into the fact that Judith Miller was the target of an anthrax hoax, and I couldn't help but think:

fake journalist - fake anthrax

(Was someone trying to legitimize J. Miller?)
