Original article: Is Ralph Nader losing it?

Nader's Fatal Flaw

He's completely top down. He thinks he'll just ride in on a White Horse and save the day, and create a magical utopia by his royal decree. What a loser. The only way to effect change is from the bottom up. Real people power. George W Bush, Hillary Clinton, and Ralph Nader are in some ways three heads of the same beast. All power-mad, authoritarian egoists.

PUMAs, NUMAs, and other assorted treats courtesy of Ms. Walsh

Point is, the handful of hysterical screeching Harriet Christians, the handful of genuine far left hysterical screeching Naderites; both amplified and hyperinflated by right-wing trolls posing as both, really won't matter despite Joan's use of them as vehicles of her "concern" for Obama. We don't need either; they are both marginal fringe groups, ideological and emotional infants.

The good thing about Nader in 2008 is that not only is he thoroughly discredited after 2000 and 2004, the handful of angry toddlers that vote for him will split with Cynthia McKinney. Bob Barr will do far more damage to McCain than PUMAs, NUMAs and whatever other hysterical infantalists will do to Obama combined!

@Brian Stegner

You are one of those ones who are perpetually stuck at age 14. From Glenn Greenwald's column the other day:

Why are so many four-year-olds and fourteen-year-olds making comments on blogs?

Four-year-olds see their preferred politicians as god-like fathers (or mothers) whose virtuous character will guarantee good judgment. If a judgment looks questionable to you, then it's because you don't know all the facts that mommy and daddy know, or it's because you aren't as wise as them.

Fourteen-year-olds have had their illusions shattered about those devilish politicians so now they perceive the TRUTH - - that mommy and daddy make bad judgments because mommy and daddy are utterly corrupt.

In other words, you are a bratty, sullen teen. You have nothing to offer except whiny angst. Grow up.

@EllaDC

I just heard Joan whine "I vote too" on race for the white house. Joan, you need to get a clear perspective of what is important in this campaign and it is not just about you. Frankly, I just realized that I've had enough of this website too.

Joan's transparent self-obsession has singlehandedly ruined Salon.

This article translated from WalshSpeak:

"I am concerned about Barack Obama. I am very concerned about the rampant sexism of every single Obama supporter. Today, I was hoping I could use Wesley Clark's statement as a way to segue into concern trolling about disgusting Obama supporters. However, as Wes Clark was one of the strongest Hillary backers, I can't fault him. But his supporters are still hateful and disgusting, even after they sabotaged the rightful coronation of Hillary Clinton as our Democratic nominee, and I wanted to continue reminding everyone of that fact."

@luangtom

No need to slam Wesley Clark. It is his opinion of John McCain and not that of Barack Hussein Obama....who, by the way, said in his book, Audacity of Hope,"I will stand with the Muslims, should the political winds shift in an ugly direction."...Guess this does qualify him to be Commander-in-Chief. We will not need to have fired a shot.

Absolutely! Once we get in Black Hussein Osama, the green flag of Islam will be raised over the White House! Allah Akbar!

PS. Kill Whitey! Workers of the World Unite!

@tbrandel

On another note, I have to ask you, Joan, how you can equate Wesley Clark, a prominent national figure and someone being talked about as a potential running mate, with John Aravosis, an unknown blogger who has absolutely no connection to the campaign? Was it just the most convenient way to mention Hillary, who otherwise has no logical connection whatsoever to this "story"?

Ding ding ding! We have a winner!!

Foriegn Porn

Most US porn is boring. The worst is the extremely loud fake moaning and yelling. Gimme a break. Also, it would be nice to see porn actresses without hella tatoos. I don't think there is such a thing anymore. Lastly, has the Aryan Nations taken over the porn businesses? I can't seem to find any recent porn that doesn't have scary white guys with shaved heads and eight million tatoos. This creeps me out and is grounds for immediate deletion.

Out of this boredom I checked out some French porn and some German porn. They were both what you'd expect, the French having lots of women purring and playing in garters & black stockings. The German porn being well, efficient and aggressive. It would be interesting to see other countries porn.

Re: AKA

She also has a rather incoherent screed over in the Broadsheet article about porn. Something about porn and punctuation.

/shrug

Oh and by the way, why was AKA not offended by Joan's "catfight" comment when her only concrete example of Obama's sexism (and therefore his ineligiblity to get her vote) was that he supposedly used the phrase "the claws came out"? Double standard much?

@bogi666

So lets get McCain (the traitor and war criminal per your post) into the White House by not voting for Obama because he won't allow anyone to criticize McCain's service, that traitor and war criminal? Wow. Are you a mobius strip?

Simple Answer

No one should respond to a generic ad hominum attack on Obama that has nothing to do with the topic at hand. You aren't a very good troll.
