Donahue still?

If Bill Donahue wasn't such a clown he'd be the most dangerous man in America. Thankfully, nobody really wants to goosestep to his fascist drum.

I say, let them all spew, the Donahues, the Kleins, the Malkins, and all the other political hacks. As long as they're worried about the Emmys and some woman on the D list, maybe they'll stay the hell out of our way as we exercise the Freedums the ter'rists hate us fer.

By the way, I think we liberals can be much more insulting than they can (if we want to be).

Shoulda, woulda, coulda

Not only should they say what they are implying, but they should tell us who's going to do the dirty work. If I don't think starting a war against a sovereign state that did not attack us is a bad idea, which Blackwater unit is going to snatch me from my bed?

Hey Glenn, how many collective chins do you think these warmongerers have?

Hateful bloggers

As complicated as this all sounds, it's really quite simple. The warmongers are scared. Quivering like little kittens. Maybe we should tell them that the liberals will protect them. They don't need to be scared. We won't let the big, bad mooslums get'em. So much for personal responsibility...

Consensus

How can bipartisan consensus give amnesty to telecom companies, but it can't innoculate a child?

I will sign any petition, write any letter, whatever is neccesary to hold lawbreakers accountable.

How 'bout a NYT ad for Feinstein/Betray Us?

Wanna warrant?

This may be a dumb question, but I really don't know. Warrantless wiretapping, as we all know, is and should remain unconstitutional. But, if something is learned (tomorrow) in this manner, something criminal perhaps, is it admissable in court? Can we put a terr'ist away for what we hear over the phone lines without a warrant? Why can't NYPD use this? Isn't there a double standard here if they can't?

Is this the real reason we keep secret prisons?

Sorry, more than one question...

Default, reflexive position

Go down the list of political positions and you'll find that the default, reflexive position for democrats is almost always ignored by them. This is the simple truth behind Congress' appalling poll numbers. One need only look at republican appeasers Feinstein and Lieberman.

Original article: Abject stupidity defined

Fascinating, isn't it?

It's the epidemiology of the right wing. How fast can this bug spread across the country?

I propose toying with them.

DiFi

Can we recall Feinstein? Can we impeach her? Somebody gimme a petition to sign. I'm embarassed she's from California. Dianne Feinstein is the most gutless, unprincipled senator. I will sign or vote anything to get her out of office. Why doesn't she just switch parties? She's like the Zell Miller of California. What a careless woman.

Who's responsible

You know, there are a couple of journalists who made a whole career out of naming names back in the Watergate era. It seems the GOP has learned their lesson, which ironically is echoed through all the depressed corners of our troubled nation: Don't Snitch!

I'm not sure TIME is a real "news" magazine anyway. They're like the Bud Light and Dominoes Pizza of news magazines -- made palatable by tons of fat and empty calories. I wish I subscribed to them so that I could cancel now...

Go America! Rah!

So victory has been redefined again? If nobody cares about The War, America wins! Chickenhawks unite!

Original article: Harry Reid's FISA games

Reid is hiding something

Harry Reid is either afraid of jail time for himself, or he's the recipient of scads of telecom monies. Since the law requires disclosure on monies (see Jay Rockefeller on-the-take) one must assume that he is stonewalling his own complicity in some nefarious affair. Mark my words. He's a crook.

Original article: The Senate's FISA agreement

Watch the vote

I will never vote for anybody who votes to grant retroactive immunity. It's time we clean-out these crooks in the Senate. Keep your eye on how everyone votes. Let it be known: a yes vote for immunity is a vote to end a political career.

Oh no!

For all their bogeyman threats, one would think the dam'd guv'ment would do a better job of killing al Qaeda rather than listening to them. If they know so much about what al Qaeda is doing, why can't they go and kill them? My bowling team can do a better job of killing al Qaeda than these idiots.

Thursday, February 14, 2008 12:33 PM

BogeyQaeda

As it is, President Bush has not uttered a truthful word in 7 years. Why do politicians believe him now when he says telecom immunity is important for fighting terror? Anybody who gives the President of the United States any credibility is a fool.

Happy little club

Oh, if we only knew how these politicians slaved for us, sweated for us, anguished for us we'd never be so presumptuous as to question their wisdom. How dare you demand they be accountable to we ordinary, non-politician Amer'cans! Do you think prison stripes are becoming to these men have given us soooooo much...?

It's what they do

Shit-throwers

Thursday, February 21, 2008 01:27 PM
Original article: GOP politics in a nutshell

Scare me twice?

I'd rather be slaughtered by terr'sts than let these boobs have one more Constitutional protection. If they can't do the job with the tools they have, they're piss-poor public servants and need step down for the good of the country, and let more competent people handle the job.

Rockefeller must resign.

Dopey reporters

Wasn't the substance of John King's email to Greenwald that he's the expert, he's the professional journalist? Wouldn't a professional go to his editors ahead of time and suggest someone more qualified perform the interview -- or, at least, bone-up on the issues himself beforehand? John King should probably find a less complicated line of work.

Question

Does Hagee think McCain is running for president of Israel, or the US? Does McCain think he's running for president of Israel? This is an excellent example of why we must keep christianity out of American politics.
