My Bumper Sticker!

I bought a bumper sticker from Common Dreams that says "My America Doesn't Torture." Everyone who has seen it on my car appears to be embarrassed for me. "Give it up!" "You are really stupid, you can't control what the government does!" "You elected them and they are protecting our country!" Not one commenter voiced any understanding or empathy.

C'est la vie!

You know, I feel much better contributing to the Obama campaign than I do paying my taxes. I feel I am doing more for my country!

Salon and Joan Walsh are making sexism an issue that I can't make any sense of, yet I read all these posts from middle-aged women from Texas supporting her so I have to realize I just don't get it.

I am truly proud of the way Obama is responding to the baseless Atwater/Rovian attacks of the Clintons. I truly believe he is making the Clintons and their campaign look small and trite. His honesty is disarming.

Absolutely Stupid Article!

I am a small town American who is extremely bitter. I want people to know this fact. What kind of healing is depending on the rift I am causing, by me being bitter?

Why aren't you talking about torture or Iraq or something substantial.

The only people who shouldn't be bitter are congress and and the wealthy elite and the neocons protecting Israel.

What Utter Crap!

"To judge from Obama's several statements on the subject, he sincerely believes that working-class whites, lacking the self-awareness to recognize the actual economic origins of their distress, seek relief from their pain by praying in church, slaughtering deer, and making illegal immigrants and imports from foreign countries scapegoats for ills that have nothing to do with immigration or trade.... they are too irrational to understand their genuine problems and their true interests, which are chiefly economic, a fact that university-educated progressives in big cities and college towns can readily perceive."

Obviously Rovian! What utter unbelievable, gutter-ridden, bullshit! Excuse me. That's what Lind feels, not Obama!

softdog

"You guys are no better than the shallow media pigpile Glenn Greenwald skewers."

Walsh and Lind are not only not better, they are worse. What unadulterated, slimy prattle!

I think "pigpile" is being overly, overly nice!

Salon or Faux News? Really no difference!

Joan Walsh and Lind must stay up at night dreaming up bullcrap to make any case they can to go after Obama.

They are delusional!

He speaks the truth. So did Rev. Wright. Walsh and her minions are trying to make an issue of the San Francisco remarks. Lots of Luck!

I predict the truth will win out. Obama is steadily closing the gap in PA and going ahead in Indiana.

There is an insightful article today by Barbara Koeppel of Consortium News describing in detail HRC's experience. On top, of course, is the sniper-fire and her doing nothing in Ireland. But on every issue where Clinton claims to have had a successful participation, it's just not true.

HRC is a big, big liar. Wow! A politician telling lies. How remarkable!

Everything is going to backfire on her. Of course, the woman feminists from Texas will stay with her through think and thin.

I've known people who had lived successfully using their ability to persuasively lie. I just wish the media would stop giving her a "free ride" and would start calling her on her lies.

Salon: HRC website

Glenn Greenwald is awesome. I can't understand what he is doing on this website.

The only reason I come here is to read Glenn's articles, but I keep getting sucked in to reading others, just out of curiosity.

No longer!

If I wanted to keep reading completely biased hog-wash I could just go to HRC's web-site. Or Karl Rove's if he has one.

I never say never but after I read this HRC propaganda I get so depressed. The feminist comments supporting JW are even more repulsive. What Lies!

Very good!

Wow! Another serious writer at the Salon website. Glenn Greenwald is not alone.

Nice job!

Another Serious Writer at Salon!

I just finished reading the article by Andrew O'Hehir and truly feel that there is another writer at Salon other than Glenn Greenwald.

I only read this article because I noted that she (Joan Walsh) mentions Keith Olbermann. Yes, Keith said that and he and Fineman are right about Clinton! Clinton's campaign is disgusting and repulsive. They make Rove and Atwater look like angels.

I won't get sucked in again.

Walsh and Traister support the worst and dirtiest campaign ever made in the history of this country. The swift-boating of Kerry was nothing compared to the character-assassination and numbers-rigging by Wolfson and the Clinton campaign.

Disgusting!

"No wonder I don't see Ms. Walsh in news shows lately."

Thank God! When I see her or Kristol, or Kurtz, or Scarborough, bye, bye boob-tube."

Joan Walsh and sexism!

Joan Walsh sees sexism everywhere she looks. And she continuously looks. "Where oh where can I find sexism lurking?" Uh oh, now I know, it is everywhere!

Any statement, however innocent, is intolerably sexist to her.

She should really get a life and start dealing with reality. Her claims are ridiculous and outrageous.

Repulsed!

I am just so disgusted by the Clinton campaign. I know Joan Walsh thinks that HRC's race-baiting is "politically smart," but I feel even Karl Rove would even be outraged at the gutter-type slime of the Clintons. Lee Atwater turned over in his grave, saying "please quit, you're disgracing yourself and the country that you represent."

These antics are bringing this country to a new low. And that is saying a lot considering the outrages of the Bush administration.

HRC has reached the nadir of humanity in using dirty, vile, slime. And she tries to keep changing the game by moving the goal posts in every inconceivable direction.

I think the country is lost! Down the ol' drain we go!
