@ The Jim (tm)...

me:

there are a HUGE number of examples where Big Pharma, Big Medicine, and Big-Ego doktors introduced 'the next big thing' or panacea, only to find out a year, 10 years, a generation later, that there was some major problems they either squelched or didn't know about (*AND* -since they are under the thrall of korporations, they *DON'T* want to know about any problems)...

The Jim:

First a question, why do crazy people always spell worlds to look as evil as possible? I am somewhat surprise that there was not an overstanding in their someplace.

me:

obviously, because i'm crazy, asked and answered; the better question is why stupid shits like you bother to ask... (merely look at your own nonsensical sentences to prove you are a stupid shit, you stupid shit...)

A. i assure you, should i feel so moved, i can write conventional rings around you and just about any other of the babbling babbitry who are hung up on 'proper' grammar and spelling... ADDRESS THE ISSUES, The Jerk...

B. as a winnowing out tactic, i know i can dismiss any moron grammar-copz and other defenders of 'civility', because they are stuck in 'gotcha' infantalism and are generally fundie literalists, NOT interested in rational discussion...

The Jim:

Second. Where are these huge numbers of examples that you are talking about? For the minor issues of knowledge yes we know more today than 10 years ago and more 10 years ago than 20 years ago because there is research going on and being released. Science is about the best aviabile evidence today it is always open to new and better theories based on new evidence.

me:

*zing*

The Jim is point-proof, they just go ricocheting off his thick skull; again: thailidomide ring a bell, The Jizm ?

do i *REALLY* have to go on and on for the benefit of kampers who have some concept of his story ? ? ? i don't think so, buy a vowel and spell 'clue', Toe Jam...

of course, the other point regarding litigation regarding medicines or medical procedures, is that they virtually ALL get 'settled' or otherwise buried as terms of the agreement, so we DON'T hear about a lot of the cases, do we, Teh Quim...

also, my point had NOTHING to do with YOUR implied and abbreviated argument that newer techniques and advancement lead to increased ability to detect various toxins at lower concentrations, etc...

my overarching point (WHICH APPLIES TO OUR WHOLE WORLD), is that BIG Korporations DO NOT -by law- give a SHIT about ANYTHING but generating profits... their LEGAL and ONLY mandate is to MAKE MONEY, PERIOD... korporations take no 'hippocratic oath', the ONLY OATH they take, is to MAKE MONEY for the shareholders/officers...

DO NOT give me any horseshit about: oh, the precioussss, omniscient, omnipotent, invisible-hands, dog almighty MARKET will ensure they don't wrong people... just take a look at current events to discredit any moronic 'market wisdom' bullshit, The Jimhole...

greatest boon to personkind in his story ? ? ?

...uncontaminated water, screen windows, and naps...

hee hee hee

NO, it is NOT 'foolish' nor anti-science to be skeptical of ANY AND ALL unproven synthetic nostrums, vaccines, and other witchdoctory... (um, thailidomide, anyone ? DES ? etc)

ho ho ho

ha ha ha

YES, do be guided by rational thinking, HONEST scientific methods, and experiential his story; but DON'T BELIEVE for a nano-second that KORPORATE-KONTROLLED Big Pharma, etc, are looking out for YOUR interests of health over THEIR interests of profit... not for a femto-second! ! !

bwa ha ha ha HAAAAAAA

stupid sheeple...

yep, threaten their cheesy doodles and they are ready to take to the streets...

hee hee hee

but one million dead innocent brown people aren't worth getting upset about... (how unseemly)

ho ho ho

i know how many saloonists it takes to debate how many angels dance on the head of a pin: all of them !

ha ha ha

i know that one million brown angels can dance on a pinhead, and saloonists will not see them...

again:

WE ALL are COMPLICIT with The System of kapitalist empire which gave you your ipod and cheezy doodles and neon colored drinks: WE have complied with AND cheerleaded the OBSCENE and ANTI-HUMAN 'values' of PROFIT UBER ALLES and the sacrosanct Korporation; THOSE are our only 'values' we 'defend'...

and *now* sheeple are bleating/bleeding as the inevitable chickens come home to roost ? ? ?

buk buk buk

you set up/allow/condone a system which destroys people and the planet to enrich a relative few, and you *JUST NOW* are 'getting it' ? ? ?

*snort*

oh, brother adnoto, i got your point vis-a-vis glenn and his cohort getting upset at FINANCIAL losses (in general or in particular, it doesn't really matter), but swallowing inhumane camels on a daily basis without having 'pitchfork moments'...

come the revolution, cheezy doodles will be hard to find...
