ME/mine/likeminded 'scolds' are NOT the 'best and brightest' who run thisy here koo koo kwazy democrazy; hold THEM accountable for the messes THEY create, NOT us ignored malcontents at the bottom of the food chain... (IF The They (tm) HAD 'listened to ME', likeminded dirty hippies, commie pinko ratfucks, etc, we WOULD NOT be in the multiple messes we ARE IN...)

2. in point of fact, gigi, it is YOUR cohort -societal parasites, er, lawyers- who are overwhelmingly the originators and functionaries who implement the evil that all the king's men do... (an over-lawed, over-lawyered, overly-litigious society is *one* of the major problems we have... )

3. as an humble citizen, it is NOT my job to propose 'solutions' (maybe we could try the golden rule ?), which we have elected representatives (you know, mostly millionaire lawyers), who PURPORT to provide such solutions (its WHY we VOTE for them)...

4. in spite of the fact it is NOT 'my job' (we ALREADY have 'solutions': it is the POLITICAL/SOCIETAL WILL AND LEADERSHIP which is lacking), i HAVE proposed numerous actions, for example:

A. the linchpin to a participatory democracy is an engaged and INFORMED citizenry; our korporate-kontrolled infotainment industry is not doing that job; unless/until we revitalize, recapture, and repurpose 'our' media, the majority of the sheeple will have a stunted, slanted, and shunted decision-making process... (NOT due solely -or even primarily- to the jokelines/etc: it is a FUNDAMENTAL FLAW with korporate-kontrolled/dominated media...) maybe someone could make some laws or sumpin' to de-concentrate media ownership...

but what the fuck do i know...

B. 'our' voting systems are NOT trustworthy... EVEN IF we had the requisite informed citizenry, i have ZERO faith in computer-based voting systems in light of the broad-spectrum election fraud by the rethugs during coup 2000 and coup 2004... the pet hobbyhorse i have been riding (since before coup 2000, gigi) :

C. in conjunction with a trustworthy voting system, we need public campaign financing (plus free media), and an Instant Runoff Voting system, this would reinstill faith in our voting process, allow people to vote their conscience, promote third/etc party formation, and permit non-machine, non-korporate, non-big money, non-bad people to have a chance of winning elections and (theoretically) eliminate *some* of the reasons kongresskritters are in fundraising/campaign mode 24/7/365...

forget about this (obviously) insane ranter who never proffers neato, super-brainiac 'solutions': refute jefferson, refute eisenhower's military-industrial-kongressional komplex, refute kennedy's truisms about oppressing societies, refute the delcaration of independence, refute smedley butler, refute the millions of dead bodies as a direct and indirect result of kapitalist imperialism...

5. in spite of mocking oh-so-outraged-yet-polite saloonists' email/etc to -you know- inform kongresskritters, and power elites of the error of their ways (hint: they already know, and The They (tm) mostly ignore you, UNLESS you have torches and pitchforks in hand !); i, too, channel my outrage to kongresskritters through hundreds of emails/faxes/calls/etc... except for my own concscience, i'm certain the effect on The They (tm) is less than zero...

6. the system is broke; it can't be fixed by tinkering around the edges; there is no 'good person' -or party- we can elect (*IF* we can) who will withstand the entrenched power, influence, and -yes- evil, of soulless, inhumane, immortal, immoral, legal fictions we call korporations, who exercise infinite resources and power compared to individuals or groups...

8. WHEN has power ever devolved voluntarily ? ? ? NEVER !

9. WHERE is our chavez ? ...our morales ?

hell, 'we' can't allow them to remain unscathed even though they are half a world away; what do you think would happen to such a leader *here* ?
